This is an idea I've had for a long time. Ever since I got my Fan Projects sets I've wanted to do the Protectabot, in scale with the Fan Projects stuff. So here is my first one. It seems for most people, groove is the hardest . So I wanted to start on him to test the waters to see if this idea would work or not and I think it worked pretty well.

I took the extra swindle and combined it with a G2 Road Hog (see pictures below)

The robots articulation as about the same as any Energon toy.

And the most important question does it combine the answer is "big ass
    YES!!"

It uses the same Energon port that the rest of the Energon combiner's use.

P.S. I plan on making much better feet. With a tilt joint.

Gotta tell ya buddy, that's a great idea you have there! Groove is definitely the tough one out of the Protectobots. I have designed him to be an arm on my Defensor as a workaround, but your idea is sure to make yours stand out!:thumbs2:

That's the best groove. I started painting my Stakeout to make a First Aid but had no Idea's past that. But now I do.

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. A thousand kitbashers just slapped their foreheads in sheer "Why didn't *I* think of that?"

Wow, that is awesome. I've been thinking the exact same thing for a while but I was trying to see what I could do with a KO Defensor as fodder. But using Road Pig looks fantastic. Nice work!

...and the price on eBay has now increased tenfold. =)
