    Hi, everyone!

Originally inspired by Tabtiurf's custom Animated Dirtboss, I decided to do my own version of the little guy, only that I had something different in mind.
Being a big fan of cross-universe TF's (when a character from a certain line gets done in the style of another one -for example HFTD Lockdown), I thought that a generations/ classicverse version of Dirtboss would be interesting.

The base figure is a non-oversized KO of ROTF Dirtboss, with some putty, styrene and 1/144 gundam parts.

    Mods done:
    - Removed the original head and sanded down the whole chest area.
    - Sculpted new face and helmet.
    - Modified abdomen/ crotch plate to look similar to the animated character model.
    - Shortened limbs for a more midget-y look.
    - Replaced the original hands with Gundam hands.
    - Added new parts and articulations to re-attach the forks and wheels to the side panels and allow them to move around for the transformation, and sit on the in bot-mode's back.
    - Complete repaint and detailing.

Well, enough chatter. Let's move on to the pictures!

The mods done to the transformation left him with quite a backpack, thus making him a bit unbalanced. So as you can see in the pictures, a small base/ support was used to help him stand up correctly. A minor setback, I guess

All in all I'm quite happy with the outcome. If anyone is interested, here's a link to the WIP thread for this project.

So, Iguess that's all. Thanks for stopping by, and C&C are always welcome.

    See ya'!

This is awesome. Will you attempt to make the other Constructicons too? ...will they transform into Devastator;)

    Thanks a lot! :D

Thanks! About the other Constructicons... I'd love to take a shot at the full group and try to make a classicsverse version of the Animated Devastator would-be... but that's waaay out of my league :(  . Unfortunately I still don't have the skill (or confidence) to try such a project. Although I'd love to try it some day in the future!

Hey, mil grax! Yeah, that's a gashapon stand, donated by one my girlfriend's many-many Trunks figures XD. But I just used it for the photo session, so the stand is back with it's rightful owner, and Dirtboss is simply supported by whichever TF is standing behind him on the shelf. :)

Very cool. I think your face-sculpt is better than mine, and your altmode holds together better, but I still think the limbs need to be shorter & stockier.

Either way, good work on this guy, and thanks for the props! :D

Thanks! When I was taking the pictures I was afraid the camera would capture all the little tiny imperfections that escape the eye at plain sight, and make them more noticeable. Fortunately those small imperfections didn't pop out so much :thumb

Hey, thanks you, man! It was your awsome custom that inspired mine.
PersonallyI think your face sculpt is better than mine, LoL. I can't help to feel theres a lot of room for improvement on mine. But I guess it came out quite well considering the fact that it's my first time doing extensive mods.

Still... I'm very tempted to make a 2nd version of this guy in the near future :D .
