    You do realize they work with a finite amount of money set aside for retooling on the BotCon figures? They gave Dreadwind and Alpha Trion a new head, and figured that they should use the rest of the money left for retooling to give one of the Seekers new wings and chose Thrust because his were more different from Ramjet's and more icon for the character. So Thrust received new wings and Dirge didn't. So there was nothing lazy about it.

    I'm so glad that I sold my Henkei versions of Thrust and Dirge when I had the chance to still make a few bucks on them.

    I already have the new Generations Thrust and as soon as I see the Dirge at retail I'm gonna snatch one of those up too! Oh it will be a happy day :D

    This is just rubbing the salt in, I paid big bucks for the henkei version! Still, I am happy that dirge is more widely available at reasonable prices for collectors. Now all we need is generations Thundercracker.

    His colors are so damn ugly. I know these are the colors of his character, too.

    Dirge IS ugly as sin regardless.

    YES! Now get him out, and bring on Thundercracker! They've kept us hanging on a string long enough! I'm so happy these guys are seeing stateside release so that we can all have them. :D

    It just struck me how much this version of Dirge looks like the Silph fighter from the arcade game Vapor Trail. Cool!!

    LOL, off course they are better in your case. They sell for big bucks, much bigger than this version will ever sell.

    this dirge is $12 and in that respect alone, the botcon and henkei versions have no chance.

    I'm still very VERY glad I didn't shell out the $80 each for Henkei versions of these two. I have the Botcon versions and the Hasbro versions look much better than the Henkei ones.

    I much prefer this version to the Botcon one (and I have the Botcon one). Looks great.
