I'm curious. I just picked up Generations WFC Prime today and am pretty frustrated with the way the plastic was cut from it's trees before assembly. there's at least 4 or 5 spots where it's blatantly obvious where the plastic was attatched to another piece and pulled off really harshly. Anyone else have this problem?
My prime looks good too. If you picked up any Botcon toys this year, alot of them has marks where for the attachment to the sprues. Imagine the frustration people had with a 300 box toys.
My WFC prime was ok, but the bumblebee had similar problems to what you are saying. I ended up trading both pretty quick, they were much less impressive in person than they were in pics IMO.
I think I'd have to agree with this. I have the feeling Ill return prime tomorrow for another. I like the mold and enjoyed the game so want to have a figure.
I like WFC Prime, but I suspect he suffers from a class downgrade just like Universe Galvatron. They both feel like they were meant to be bigger figures.
My Prime has a few spots where I can tell the plastic is a little cheap, but things like that have never bothered me too much. I just kind of accept the flaws unless it's something hinders the toy itself.
There's a coule rough spots on mine, but nothing awful. I have a bigger problem with the the way the toy doesn't hold together at all.
I have the same problem. That being said, this is a common problem for the toys I get. It really doesn't bother me that much though. If it does, I simply take the X-ACTO knife or the sandpaper to it.
mines good too although his belt(?) broke off, but thats just because i got frustrated because it wouldnt go, but i got it back on so its all good now, and im still kicking myself for paying $14.99 with shipping, oh well thats life i guess
Meh, it happens to a lot of toys. At the end of the day we are talking about mass produced figures designed primarily for children, manufactured in questionable labor conditions, possibly by children, for ridiculously low wages to be sold for a big whopping $12 at retail, I am not really sure what some folks expect.
he does feel very uni galvatron-ish. maybe the overly high thigh swivel. bit of a transformation mod to make him taller and I like him a lot more now.
No problems with my prime, just the plastic feels and looks kind of cheap compared to other generations/classics stuff.
unpegged the waist and stretched out the body a bit. the legs now sit below the waist plate. rather than flipping blue panel onto the back, it now folds in up against the body to make rear waist armour like armada prime. At least he's actually taller than bee now too.
