Regardless of which version of Soundwave you use for your Classics display, what and who are you using for his minions?

In my collection, I have WFC Soundwave hanging out with Universe 2.0 Ravage and Cybertron Laserbeak. RTS Rumble and Frenzy will join him. I also have ordered Universe Ratbat and Overkill to be part of his army of loyal servants. Energon Ravage and Divebomb work well with the figure but I don't use them.

Who are you using to go along with SW?

What would you like to see HasTak come out with to boost his number of minions?

Personally, I would love to see a Ravage and Laserbeak / Buzzsaw scout figure with a beast mode and robot mode... Similar to Rumble....

Universe Ravage and Titanium Laserbeak. Going to add RtS Rumble (and Frenzy when that repaint hits) to the list as well.

 

This, but with Soundwave I also have DL Ravage, Autoscout (from the Gears Of War set), Universe Ratbat, and Universe SE Overkill. Oh, and a PVC Laserbeak.

That's what I use. With DL Ravage:

 

My ML Soundwave minions are PE's Frenzy and Rumble and Henkei/Universe Ravage that comes with Hound.

After the piss poor job HasTak made of the Ravage that came with Hound and the mediocre tank Rumble that's being released soon I really don't want to see any more minions released officially.

I think the thread starter has never heard of perfect effect

 

That or doesn't expect everyone who collects would want to pay for expensive third party figures so is only counting official releases.

 

If I had space on the shelf I'd probably be using WFC Soundwave for now with the PE bots. Device label would be nice, but I was never inspired to spend the money on it.

 

I have heard of Perfect Effect and I'm a huge fan of their work... However, I really don't like paying ridiculously high prices for third party releases. I may break that rule when the TFClub Not Devastator.

I was just trying to get an idea o what people were using for their Classics displays of Soundwave and his Miniorns.

Also, what other figures could be repurposed or added to his army. What figures would work as minions?

for example, Cybertron Scrapmetal would work well as a minion like Energon Ravage and Divebomb. I wanted to see if anyone else was adding to Soundwave's army.

 

I have WFC soundwave with energon divebomb as laserbeak and energon ravage. I have PE shadow warrior as frenzy and a an armada minicon (the blue twin missile launcher) as rumble.

 

I think perfect effect is the way to go...RTS rumble frenzy just looks too big, and they don't look that great next to hound's ravage...seems like everything (with alt modes that didn't make sense back in the day ei. megatron, galvatron, rumble, frenzy, perceptor) is turning into tanks (or vehicles with treads) nowadays in the TF toy world...

 

There's some Real Gears that fit the bill.





I'd prefer if they were all legend sized, like the Ravage that came with Hound, but they're scout sized like RTS Frenzy and Rumble.
