Anyone using powercore combiners huffer as huffer in thier generations / classics display??

Seems to me (from pics and videos i've seen) that this would work. looks decent enough and the combiner pegs seem fairly well hidden in robot mode

any pics of pcc huffer with generations / classics figures?

I went ahead and tracked down the Botcon version. It's worth it, IMO.

It fits well. Really the only detracter is the head.

    This.

I bought the botcon version for $20 or $30 at the Toronto TFcon and have to say it is a perfect fit.

I use PCC Huffer as a Classics stand in, the combiner pegs aside he's a good fit. I can understand why some people don't like it because of the head, or because he's missing that giant hood, but for me I actually prefer the no-hood design because it looks better to me.

To be quite honest, I consider all my PCC's to be Classics. With the exception of Huffer, all the PCCs are so generic looking that they fit right in and can even be renamed if need be.

I've seen quite a few pics of people doing this in the cool stuff thread.

I've had the Botcon one with my display and just renamed PCC Huffer "Powertrain" after the G1 micromastet :D

eh, I got him thinking it would be a good fit, but it doesn't really work for me. Like someone said before, the head doesn't seem to fit in with the others. I keep him on the side though. Its really all about personal preference. Maybe hasbro will come out with a scount or legends huffer sometime in the future....

PCC Huffer since he is more affordable than the Botcon version and he can fit in in either the Generations or the Unicron Trilogy

Yeah, I gave the PCC one a chance. Didn't like it at all.

PCC Huffer works perfectly for me. It's a really good mold, and is Huffer enough for me. The Botcon one just ain't worth it, imo. If I cared if he and Pipes were the same mold I would have bought another Cybertron Armorhide and kitbashed it into Huffer.

I have PCC Huffer in my classics collection. But I seperate him along with RTS Windcharger, the Universe Legends mini-bots and Classics Jetfire to take on Universe/ROTF Bruticus (w/crossfire sets) and Universe Starscream. I've also got the PCC Rallybots on the way to help those mini-bots out in their fight with Bruticus. I think they're going to need all the help they can get.

I also have a Botcon Huffer & I'm so glad I got him 'cos he's a perfect fit for my Classics family. If you haven't got him, What are you waiting for? :lol

That is a great idea! & all it took was the stripping of the spring mechanism/missile assembly? I need to find my Cyb Armorhide & give that mod a go...

I also use Botcon Huffer. I had him long before PCC Huffer was even announced. So I don't really feel any particular urge at getting PCC Huffer.

PCC Huffer doesn't work as Classics Huffer beyond it being orange and that it has a truck mode. By that logic Nemesis Prime works as a Classics Motormaster.

The Botcon version works better until we (hopefully) get a better version.

And yet that was all I needed. Plus the PCC Huffer's head is closer to the G1 toy's head.
