A small idea that cane to me while working on another project which turned into this thing that i couldnt get out of my head, so i had to finish it so i could get back to my other projects.

Blaster was made from a generations skull grin, with arms built form drifts legs and hounds forarms (i dont know how it came to be but it works), and a lot of styrne so much so that i dont think many would guess what was actaully built onto at first glance.

tamaya paints and krylon red were used and tetors paints were used for the details.

the head was an action master head that i did a little shaving on to give it a more blaster look (cartoon wise) but i wanted a little more of an update to his character since the one we got from universie was a repaint of a shitty soundwave IMHO

anyway the pics tell a story of a long rivalry of communication of sound turning violent

    onto the pics

What happened to the DL Blast Gun?

The paint job is great, and you're right, it's hard to tell what Blaster is made from. Still, the Straxus legs are a dead giveaway. Just needs some work with smoothing out some of the bumps there near the front of the cassette mode, on each leg.

Perfect, now just repaint a universe ravage into steeljaw, lol. simply amazing work dude. perfect scale and the amount of parts mashing works brilliantly. You win on classics blaster, best ive seen. keep it up. seriously mad props for that mash up, drift legs with hound arms works way too well.

this is awesome! Plus makes me feel all warm and fuzzy about choosing ml soundwave for my collection too. Hmm, I have a spare universe hound missing a cpl parts and an extra drift and a skullgrin and a straxxus... will definitely think about trying this. Awesome idea!

instead of wasting time on that mp10, takara should have built either Soundwave or Blaster as the MP instead. awesome man.

    thank's guys

    thanks allen

thanks the arms were just all i had left so i went with it and i couldnt be happier with how it turned out

if you do it, the tape deck joint was made from that piece on hound that makes his hip plates, cant wait to see it

I just wish they could give blaster and soundwave some love in a some sort of g1-esque capacity but i dont its wishfull thinking since transformes now have to be somesort of vehicle

thanks Spoonman couldnt have done it without you though

    thanks

it might go on the ebay after i fix a few things havnt decided if i want to keep him or not

now that is what i like to hear

    thanks colin

i forgot to put in in the pics im gonna take some later on with a few of the wrecker crew to show that off, and i didnt notice the legs until after i had taken the pics, there are some things that need to be touched up and that is one of them. it was a tough arean to work because i didnt want to sand away the detail that was still exposed Thanks Tread

    thank you
