This is my take on a modern Arcee using the TFA figure as a base (obviously)

Aside from the paint itself, which involved learning/figuring out techniques I've not previously done, it also involved a lot of cutting sanding, grinding, shaping, masking, etc.
I'm still new to customizing so what's a big deal to me might not be to others.

Put the exhaust pipes on the backpack as others have done to give a more lady-like figure. I also shortened the neck to match Uuser's custom head and
added "ab" pieces to more portray a toned feminine feel rather than just flat boxiness. C&C welcome.

Looks nice! I think the only thing I would change though is the paint color of the face. Maybe a lighter shade of pink? I also picked up uuser's head sculpt and have been waiting for a nice day outside to start on her. What kind of paints did you use? Also, you said "pubic mound"... HAHAHA!!! :)  But yeah, I know it's a technical term, it's still funny though.

Looks VERY VERY good. This figure could definetly be retooled into a Generations Arcee. Can we see alt mode pics?

Great job. Does not look like an animated figure with a generation like head. I think it is because the paint desgin you applied as well as the mods. Great job

I do agree a slightly lighter shade on the face would have looked a little better, but that also could be the camera's brightness. I would love to know what you used though to create the abs, that's really well done.

the face was sort of a poor attempt at eye shadow, it's been removed now, as is the "description"... as far as alt-mode, the joints are still too stiff for me to try it quite yet, gonna give it a couple weeks of curing before I attempt it.

I used a mix of krylon, testors, and tamiya enamel and acrylic paints brushed and sprayed.

yeah the face does look off, but the colors in general look off in the pics because of lighting, she's much paler in-person. the pink is very pastel and the white is crisp.

This is my thought exactly. It's pretty amazing with this figure how much of a difference a paint job and a different head can totally change things. VERY well done :thumb

It looks pretty good. Even with swords.

But what I never understood was why people want a G1 Arcee, when theres nothing wrong with the Animated one.
