After the many we are going to get a G1/Classics/Generations Acree to we aren't getting one I decided to make one for myself. I am using the GN-Archer 1/144 scale Gundam model, and did some heavy modding to the helmet in order to fit a energon Arcee's face. A lot of sand and cutting and test fitting went into working the head. And I am very very pleased with the out come.

Let me know what you guys think so far. And yes she transforms.

Is this design inspired by IDW, if it is very cool.

    This is SO cool.

Wish you could get gundam at sane prices in the UK.

    How tall is the botmode?

    Subbed.

Well that's totally awesomesauce, and a good size for a CHUG Arcee too!

I'm very tempted to pick one up from eBay and use it as a base for my own Arcee custom - not often I'm inspired by a project so quickly! I figure with a decent head and some more Arcee-like kibble-wings it'd be fantastic!

Would look sweet splattered in pink/purple energon 'blood' like that IDW cover art.

    Hell, I'm totally doing that.

This is a really good idea that, now that I see it, I'm surprised that nobody has tried yet. Kudos to you for doing it first. I'll definitely have to check back on this!

Yeah the model base figure without the wings is about inbetween a scout and a deluxe.
On another forum it was suggested I reshell it into a 1/32 scale car. But I feel the figure is a bit too small for it to be done at my current level of skill. I've never reshelled before.

When its finished I might add it with PhotoShop to give the nod to the cover.

I'm surprised as well with all the nightbird customs from this kit. You'd think it would have been done already.

My one hang up now is do I paint the face white or silver.

It's good to be back customizing. And Yeah I am leaving her as a jet pretty much. I want to go with a Without XL hover racing car feel to it. With futuristic decals or paint scheme.

Ahhh crap I forgot what toy line they came from. It was like legos but they turned into balls. Neo Shifters is what I believe they were called.

    thanks. :D

I don't really know anything about Neo Shifters, but I think that's accurate.
