This is the first in a Generations/Classics Superion I want to do. I did Air Raid first because his alt mode is the closest to a Generations Seeker and a repaint would be easiest on him. Only trouble I have painting this mold are all of the tight places where the paint rubs....where the feet swing down, where the fists pull out, where the rear wings slide over the outside of the legs and lock into place...etc. And, even though I used a lot of tape to make the lines nice, it is very hard to paint the cockpit, as the crossbeams are soooo thin...almost too thin to keep tape on them as I spray the windows...But, I like him! I hope you guys do too! :)

Fantastic idea!! Your Air Raid looks great! Works really well. I really like the sound of your project. I think this seeker mold is wonderful, but a real pain to paint! Totally agree with you over the areas you mentioned!

Thanks, Pumpkingonzo! I appreciate the compliments! I am thinking of painting Skydive next...I still have a lot of black and red paint left....I think Slingshot and Fireflight will be harder, as their alt modes are alot more different. I may just do straight repaints and not mod anything...don't know yet...

    Hello inturnmike!
You deserve a compliment, I think your Air Raid looks fab! Great idea. I also think straight repaints would work here. I'll be watching your project with huge interest.

Yeah, more and more I think I may just do that (straight repaints). I saw Anemis's Superion and was inspired. I think his is a masterpiece, for sure. I, however, have never worked with styrene or re-shelling, only some slight mods. Should be interesting trying to connect the bots later on... :)

I know a lot of people have said that doing the aerial bots using the Seeker molds is a bit predictable, but you honestly can't pick a better base figure for them, especially Air Raid.

Nice job on the repaint. :)

I will probably have to go back and change how the wings are connected to each jet....put them onto a hinge, or something...Any suggetstions? I have never used styrene or anything other than apoxy and dremel work... :)
