Finally got the chance to put green shadow together. I grabbed him from toydojo.

Hmmm... I think the alternate head for Bulldozer would make a decent head for an IDW Scoop custom with a little painting and/or sculpting:

(GT Scraper already resembles Scoop's alt mode more than he does G1 Scrapper's.

I suppose at this point it's a bit late to try to talk Generation Toy into doing a new head and chest for a more proper Constructicon Scoop....)

for those saying that contructor is the best buy for money is that bcuz of his size? bcuz imho he's the worst buy bcuz he's just to big for my collection GT and MT imho are the best made Devy's and are the ones worth the money, i'm still holding out weakly for a yellow GT repaint or maybe any other color except green lol

Anyone have the contact info for generation toy? I know they have a facebook page but it doesn't look like it has been used for awhile. TIA.

That, the fact that people seem to dig the partsforming hips and thighs, and the fact that he's more G1. Cheaper, too, if you get the V2 gift set. Personally, though, I prefer GB. I like their transformations and their more realistic alt modes, I think four of the six look more dynamic (even if they are less G1), and I think the combined mode blows Constructor out of the water.

Well, I don't think it's so much the size for its own sake as much as the fact that Constructor is basically a Masterpiece scale Devastator. So it's kind of in a category of its own.

I suspect, when people are making the claims of the "best value," they are talking in general terms, unaware of your specific circumstances.

True you make a good point, if we go best value right now that might be TFC Herc he's like $100-200 and has a working crane if you add your own string, I think he's the only working crane at that but I could be wrong, then from there it would go buy collection, MT was a perfect buy for me when I got yellow Giant though I got ver1 with non removable blunt ugly stick, and overall I think GT which I feel is a reworked bigger MT is prob the best bang for the buck as my combiners are now reaching a height that makes them all equal, well I'd love to have an undersize TW Puzzler, since they're minibots but I got him cheap and he's cooler looking than I thought he would be

The G2 colors look great and I'm loving those Gurren Lagann drills. If this run incorporates all of the fixes for the original set then I may just need to bite.

Dammit, the more I think about it the more I want that orange Devy.

I just can't justify having two sets of these guys.

A while back someone posted images of Crane and it's connector points from where the boom connects to the platform in Gestalt mode, showing two different versions. I can't find it now and at the time it slipped my mind.

Apparently the new one keeps the boom attached better?

Ah. Well, that last bit sounds nice. That boom disconnecting is the most annoying thing about this set.
