I'm trying to find my conversation with the guy on Instagram, but my history doesn't go that far back. Maybe there's a communication barrier. Oh well. He said I can probably order it from Japan if I really wanted it. But I guess that can be left open for interpretation. LOL.

If it's Dec., then it's December. But I really hope not.

I thought it was supposed to be a June release - I guess they didn't say which year...   I emailed them a week or two back to ask if they had a release date, but they never bothered to reply... I hope it's soon.

 

Fingers crossed there's gonna be some sort of 'megasorry' figure when this is finally released lol

I want to get this figure only because of these photos. But the moment I look away from these photos, I am back to not being sure if I want this figure. I think the delay gift GT should include is an album of Sixo's photos.

Kidding aside, great photos! I've never been a huge Jazz fan so this delay is ok for me. Gives me time to compare Maketoys vs GTs. With Despotron going strong, I think Maketoys will do a big G1 push for masterpiece figures. Good options to choose from!

 

I was really in on this, but now that I have seen MT's update of Downbeat, I think I will likely hold off on this. While I like it, once MT (or someone else's G1 version) is released, this will get replaced and be relegated to the shelf of misfit toys that don't fit a specific aesthetic or scale.

Pretty much this. I was cracking on GT slowly but surely but now am completely out. Beautiful figure but doesn't quite scratch that itch and I'm finding I have too many of those "misfits" causing me display issues atm lol

Great stuff! Glad you like him. I think I'll pop off those missiles when he arrives too. He looks stunning in those photos, so I'm pleased that he seems to be just as good in-hand as his looks suggest. Now just bloomin' well hurry up and release him, GT!

 

I still see J4ZZ as somewhat CHUGsterpice myself. This is a cool chance for people to start an IDW Masterpiece display, given Generation Toy's and GCreations upcoming projects.

Hopefully that's true! And by the looks of that calendar, MMC's Trailbreaker drops 9 days after that. Fingers crossed.

 

Until a shipment is en route from the distributor or manufacturer, there's really no way for a retailer to predict an arrival date. Anything more than a week or two out is usually just a rough estimate. You will see items currently listed in October start to shift over the next week or so.

It's possible TCP may get these in just before TFCon Chicago but it's not solid yet.
