Is that the Toyworld Seaspray?
Man… He looks GOOD there!
TFS is soooooooooo on my scrap list right now.
After contacting them about my item being linked to the wrong address, they said they would correct it and send to the right address.
Just got my shipping notice and THEY'RE STILL SENDING IT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS
Sent them an email telling them how disappointed and unhappy I am about this colossal screw up.
Yes it is!
Well, even tho my shipping email said it's shipping to the wrong address, TFS promised that my home address was on the label.
We shall see, when it arrives on the 17th.
Did some panel lining on my Sarge. Got him a few stickers as well. I still like the figure but it is kinda dull looking color wise. But... the transformation is fun. Will put
him in permanent combine mode anyway when all the members are out.
Nice! And I equally approve of the overwatch in the back
Just got him in. Freakin gorgeous. I especially love the robot mode. Nice colors and plastic quality. Not skin piercing like their Stunticons. The lack of paint doesn’t bother me. He’s a little big, but whatever. I was hoping he’s the same size as TT Prowl. The only issue having with mine is that the arms can’t stay up. Not forward or back, but outwards. I think I’m going to pop some Pledge in there to see if it helps.
That was my hope, too.
Are the alt modes very different in size? I know the bot modes are notice-ably different...
Hmm, from the photos I've seen, it seems all the characters, asides from the Hot Spot (obviously) are relatively the same size.
I want to say that these guys are larger than the Stunticons. However they are all in car mode right now so I can't compare the robot sizes. I do know the Stunticons are a tad taller than a standard TT Autobot car character.
The bot mode is definitely bigger
I think I know why they omitted the red paint, so if you are thinking of painting him you may want to wait. I have a feeling his head is either going to snap into some sort of calf receptacle or go inside Hotspots leg, G1 style.
Meaning, if they painted it, the paint would scratch, and they want to avoid scratching?
This guy is a definite sleeper. Aside from Motormaster he's my favorite GT release and it's very close. Also may be one of the best g1 updates and the transformation is very fun and ingenious. If the next four can match this I may have a new favorite team.
Mine's having the same issue too with his left shoulder Let me know if it works
I wondered about the springy part. I saw in one transformation video that it was pressed in to allow rotation of the white part that folds over to form his shoulder and side fillers. It keeps on pushing out the windshield when that's tabbed in though.
I really like the figure overall, but then again I adore all of the Warbotron GT/TFM combiners so I may be biased.
Pledge fixed it up Hopefully it holds for a while.
this is new to me:
Sarge came in today and I'm glad I went in on this set. I really like how it looks, even as a stand alone bot. The transformation is great, I was able to follow the directions and then transform it back without following a video which is rare with me for 3P.
Just got mine! Love the transformation. When I was following the directions all the untabbing felt kinda ADDish untabbing here, untabbing there, turn and untab here. In the end, however, it came out great. Love how the hood and front make the backpack. The way the hood collapses is great and creates a nice look for a backpack. Love how they though to put tabs in the appropriate places on back for backpack and the doors becoming the calves. GT put a lot of thought into this and you can see it in all the small details...even to the lightning arrow for the kneecaps. First time I have ever seen that used in directions ! GT blows TFC's way out of the water, especially considering a lot of us thought TFC version was awesome already. He just looks great, can't wait for the others
