Agreed! I have transformed mine. I love the transformation and how it works, but I do have to agree that a bit more red on his upper body would be nice.

Still, love both modes. Currently in bot mode chilling out next to Dinoking

...aaand... the robot mode is definitely good... but I think there's just a little too much white. As BSF always says... "needs more paint apps"... and whereas I normally think he's being too much of a fusspot, this figure could have really used some more.

Apart from that the only issues I noticed were a slight paint blemish on one of the arms whilst stored on the underside of the car in alt. mode, but fortunately it's not noticeable in bot mode, and his right shoulder joint is lacking tension, but a little clear nail varnish should fix that... besides... as soon as I've got all 5, he'll become a leg nearly permanently anyway.

Oh... I forgot to mention... the usually top shelf packaging we've come to expect from GT/TFM... it's gone. The hard black box has been replaced with regular thin brown cardboard and the styrofoam is a softer type. Still... if it keeps costs down and savings get passed on, a small price to pay.

There was also a card with contact details:

Yeah, I was a bit disappointed on that front that the packaging wasn't as high-class as the Constructicons or Stunticon sets. :(

Damn you GT, making awesome looking combiners in a non-G1 aesthetic, so that I'm going to be tempted to plonk down hundreds of dollars on bots that I'll still need a proper G1 representation of!

    ...But they look so good...

Looks like TFSource has him in finally.

For those painting the head, make sure to post results here.

I'd say I shipped my stack too soon, but I'm guessing that MMC's Rumble and Frenzy will be in any day.

GT's Devastator was my first big "blind" 3rd party pre-order and I feel like I got paid, but man, Sarge is setting the bar even higher! Been transforming him back and forth during my sick day and it's awesome.

Are you fragging kidding me!?

Just checked the status on my Sargent at TFS, and glad that I did.
TFS somehow has my work address as the shipping address. I have NEVER entered my work address on the site.
Now, I did place the order while I was at work, and immediately after placing an order for lunch just prior to paying for Sargent. My guess is that there was a glitch between the card and the orders.

I just hope TFS gets my message first thing Monday morning, or my package will be going on one hell of a roadtrip.

Oh good god..... Yeah, that’s happened to me before:/ I was on the same website as my co-worker, and we ordered stuff at the same time. It somehow changed my address info to HIS, and sent my stuff to his house. He told me, and I didn’t believe him, but sure enough....my address on file with the site was wrong. I called and complained, and tried to get my money back, but no dice.lol I told them they had a glitch, but the guy tried to accuse me of changing my info.

Well, they emailed me back. Said they contacted the warehouse with the updated information. I'll give it an hour, then check the status again.

I also made sure only my home address was in their system.

Just wondering if anyone has the instructions for combined mode...? Or does it only come with the last bot released?

    LOL. You are right.
He needs more paint, and BSF is a fusspot.

Thanks for both of these details! Very helpful.

Has anyone else noticed a panel underneath on a spring that is always out? Watching a previous video it's not protruding, but looking at pictures above it seems to be pushing out, similar to mine. I had thought it was a QC issue but two images from two separate posts above seem to have a similar issue. If you look at the chest between the grey plate his head is on and the windshield there's a white piece that is pushed out on a spring. I have no idea what it's for.

In car mode it comes out under the car, so the concern is it'll snag, otherwise it has no impact.

They STILL have my Sargent listed under the WRONG ADDRESS.
Excuse me, while I go contact them for a fifth fragging time.
