    Now here's the thing:

I've got a bunch of older models that I don't think match up to the levels of detail and flexability that I've learned to put into my new ones. This includes half the Decepticon high command and the entire Seeker Airforce...

So, I went back, tinkered and the results can now be proudly displayed. No major changes, just small details altered to create better images.

We'll start with the Emporer of Destruction himself...the mighty Megatron! :thumbs2:

[EDIT] See next page for Megatron mark 3! [EDIT]

Not bad, but you've got to tone down that reflectivity. There's way too much there, especially with Megatron.

Wish I could. Prodesktop is not a 3D 'artist' program. Its a design and assembly program. The rendering functions are severly limited. I can set a material, a preset lightsource, material colour...and that's it. None of the things like reflections or light direction can be varied.

But the advantage is that I can actually constrain how big the parts are, and thus build precise, acurate models.

Shocky looks sweet! Love his vehicle mode. One thing I'd do is give him his trademark arm-cable, that'd just be the icing on the cake.

I also love Screamer and Megs. Starscream's jet mode is all kinds of badass. :thumbs2:

He's supposed to have a cable. I want him to have a cable. I really, really wish I could give him a cable!

    :redface2:

But I can't! Prodesktop can't do flexible tubes.

    Thanks for the complements :thumbs2:

Ah, that's a shame! Still a great model though, cable or otherwise!

Enter the Hunter/Seeker squadron, stage left!

Please show the seekers to Hasbro. They should be the concept art for the movie.

    Thanks all!

There's far better work than mine that could be concepts for the film...and anyway, I doubt they'd accept freelance stuff.

No more Rot from me for the moment (though check out elgoodo's renders of the entire High Hunt!)

For now, you'll have to settle for a couple of coneheads.

One'll knock you out of the sky, the other'll give you vertigo. Nice pair.

[EDIT] Total update of all models! [EDIT]

    Dirge (moody on purpose):

    Thanks you!

I've now updated most of the seekers (not Screamer, but I'll get there).

    Here's the final conehead!

    Thrust (Big ego, big engines...):

And now, may I present the new and improved Starscream:

The lack of faction symbol and new colour scheme have a lot to do with the circumstances surrounding his latest rebirth. Concerns a certain organisation begining with 'C'...

    A ground troop now:

Based on my Sideswipe model, with extensive reworking (see original here:Link! ) and on the Armada character of the inapropriate name, may I present CARJACK!

(or possibly Highjack. Not sure which sounds better...)
