    So I really like my G2 Superion and Bruticus, and I'm slowly building my G2 Menasor and Defensor as I find the parts cheap and time allows. One of my favourite aspects of the Scramble City components was their interaction with Metroplex and to a lesser extent Trypticon.
    I picked up a cheap Metroplex to replace my old yellow thing from when I was a kid, but I didn't want to get rid of the one I had even though it was no longer display worthy. Solution, strip it down and repaint it. I thought what better than to do a nice G2 Plex to complement my G2 teams. Feedback appreciated.

    Beasecoated with a matt black primer, other parts with respective colour neon sprays for what I think is a very passable G2 look. It's all about the garish neon!

    Sweet. But to be consistent with your scheme shouldn't his head be red and antenna black? Oh and the double barrel gun on his back should be black too.

    But still super awesome regardless!

    To a point; Metroplex actually has four colours and this only has three so it wasn't a complete case of match a colour to it's original part. If you look at Metrotitan you see they didn't slavishly follow the original scheme with the different coloured knees, and I thought that broken the figure up nicely.
    Also, with the head mechanism I wanted it to not be a victim of horrendous rubbing and still wanted it to look like 'Plex.

    I think so, had a lot of people on other sites saying it looks more Shattered Glass than G2 which I don't get, G2 is all about the neon.

    It's missing ridiculous stickers with his name on it and cartoony graphics. But the paint choices look great.
