Is G2 Megatron a good buy
if you like big bots, yes, if you like tanks yes, if you like megs, maybe, if you need articulation meh, I have one and have enjoyed it, so it's up to your personal taste.
Yea he looks cool i like Tanks and Megatron. I was going get him and Leader class Brawl to have a strong Military force to be led by Scourge.
It depends how much you're buying him for.
I think he's a pretty cool figure, myself - but I like tanks.
I got one, and think it was a good buy. I wish I hadn't lost my old G2 Hero Megatron though. He was in scale (robot-wise) to G1 Prime, and had pretty good posability.
FWIW, G2 Megs has a rather strong, cartoon-like facial sculpt, if that's important to ya.
because there's three.
The Big Green G2 Megatron has one of the most interesting firing mechanisms on a TF toy, with a lock and load feature. I have not seen it replicated on any other TF mould. I must admit that the "Megatron attacks" and the arm laser sounds are irritating, but it's just a matter of removing the batteries if the electronics still work.
I like how his missiles store away in his legs too. its pretty dumb that as a kid, I was amazed that the backs of his legs closed up too, not revealing the track that the upper legs rotate down into, letting the robot mode look really clean from all angles.
and that head sculpt is still the best megatron head we've ever gotten.
anyone gonna post any fond memories of the gobots megatron? yay car!
G2 Megs (both) are much better tanks than Armada Megatron. Get them!
He sucks bad. For some reason they gave him a pea shooter to go with his shoulder canon. As with most G2 toys his articulation is ass. Someone on this board once made the most accurate description of him by saying he looks like a cheap TF KO that was blown up in size and given a Megatron head.
And what's with those little feet?
He also has a kid
