Somethings about the movieverse that don't make sense that I'd like some help answering. Here goes:

    1. The AllSpark - what is the factor that influences whether a TF will be Decepticon or Autobot? Even when Sam dropped the AllSpark the resulting "births" were crazy little things.
    2. The AllSpark Again - Asking for too much BUT if the AllSpark shard revived Megatron why didn't it give BumbleBee his voice back for good when he touched it in TF1?
    3. Was The Fallen not able to move from his throne/prison given that Optimus was still alive or was it by choice to stay hidden from a genuine threat?
    4. If the Fallen was indeed imprisoned / unable to leave - we know now another Prime exists meaning he should not have been able to leave still. Any ideas?
    5. Why didn't they revive Prime in TF2 with the Shard that Michaela had?
    6. How did BumbleBee get his legs back from TF1?
    7. Did Megatron's head shape change when he was revived or just his body?

    Any answers would be appreciated.

    Cheers!

    1. The AllSpark - what is the factor that influences whether a TF will be Decepticon or Autobot? Even when Sam dropped the AllSpark the resulting "births" were crazy little things.

-- I think the AllSpark-animated creatures are the way they are for semi-humorous purposes. We're not meant to seriously consider the semantics and ramifications of a device that grants inanimate objects sentience. The scenes where the AllSpark animates appliances and random machines are meant to give just convey to us that the AllSpark is going off and causing general havoc. They've not established how larger, more civilized robots are created. That said, Jetfire explicitly stated that the robots choose their faction.

    2. The AllSpark Again - Asking for too much BUT if the AllSpark shard revived Megatron why didn't it give BumbleBee his voice back for good when he touched it in TF1?

Because Michael Bay felt that 'Bee's Sirius Radio voice was too good a gimmick to lose just yet, and he wanted to focus more on the Twins as he felt they'd be the stronger kid-appeal characters. In-film continuity was not a consideration. So the AllSpark spontaneously rebuilt Frenzy, spontaneously animated a soda machine, but did not spontaneously fix Bumblebee, all for no other reason than dramatic effect.

    3. Was The Fallen not able to move from his throne/prison given that Optimus was still alive or was it by choice to stay hidden from a genuine threat?

No explanation was given for The Fallen's apparent convalescence, if that's indeed what the 'throne' represented. It was one of many loose ends from the film. The comics continuity may provide an explanation, but we've clearly seen that the comics are not respected canon. There's no reason to suspect that Optimus's mere existence confined The Fallen in any way.

    4. If the Fallen was indeed imprisoned / unable to leave - we know now another Prime exists meaning he should not have been able to leave still. Any ideas?

The idea that The Fallen was somehow 'cursed' by the existence of a Prime to stay in a chair on a crashed ship within the Solar System is flimsy and wildly conjectural. He was ambulatory around other Primes in the past, and those Primes sacrificed themselves to hide the Matrix, so The Fallen must have clearly been still active during the final parts of the conflict.

    5. Why didn't they revive Prime in TF2 with the Shard that Michaela had?

Another plot hole. Likely, for the same reasons 'they' didn't use the shard to revive Jazz, repair Bumblebee's voice, regenerate Cybertron, constantly resurrect fallen robots, or why the Shards could repeatedly animate dozens of feral robots but completely disappeared after reviving Megatron or.. doing whatever the hell it did to Jetfire.
The Shard, AllSpark, and Matrix are MacGuffins. They exist to fill a hole in the plot, like a Deus Ex Machina. Sure the mere existence and potential of these artifacts could and would negate nearly all the conflict within the story, but those details are omitted or ignored to maintain the drama.

    6. How did BumbleBee get his legs back from TF1?

The same way Jazz did. Oops. Bumblebee is a primary character. His legs were reattached due to the the same line of reasoning that holds that roughly the same trauma killed one character stone dead, and way, way more trauma didn't kill another (Frenzy).

    7. Did Megatron's head shape change when he was revived or just his body?

It changed slightly, and was given added armor.

In summary: it must be emphasized that this is not a well-told story. Things occur in these movies to further the needs of the plot at the expense of continuity and common sense. You're asking questions about things that really can't be explained in a logical way, so you really just have to write off the plot holes and errors if you plan on enjoying the films.

The Allspark creations aren't Decepticons, just feral little creatures that only have one violent instinct. (usually carried over from their original form, like the toaster who wants to burn down the world)

Because Bumblebee never absorbed the energy. Say they both suffere from a disease, Megatron got a surgical injection while BB merely touched the medicine with his hands.

All signs point to him just being weak (for his size) and only the feeling of Prime's death emboldened him.

From what we've seen Sentinel Prime was deactivated, so he "felt" dead to the Fallen.

Because they never thought it would work. They never knew Megatron was brought back using the shard, and Jetfire was merely asleep, not dead. Plus the sharp was pretty tiny.

    Ratchet rebuilt them.

His head did change. The crest is different and he know has "muttonchops." The face is the same, though.

Much as I'm sure someone will piss and moan at the merest mentioned of the comics, they've helped established that:

    1) AllSpark Mutations start out that way, and gradually become more and more sapient over time, as happened with Bonnie and Clyde's car.

    2) Bumblebee did get his voice back, but a blast from Starscream damaged it again in "The Reign of Starscream".

    6) Ratchet fixed Bumblebee's legs up right after the battle in "The Reign of Starscream".

The later one since the Fallen believed a descendant Prime are the only ones capable of killing him.

Heck it is implied with his confrontation with Optimus through his minions he Order 66 the Prime family just to be sure.

Why he thought only a Prime can kill him we are not sure. Some suggest later generation Primes are immune to his powers. Still no explicit evidence on that.

Maybe Sentinel Prime kicked his aft and the Fallen became afraid.

I got an early copy of the script a couple of months before the first movie came out, and in that version Megatron also rips Jazz' spark from his chest. Maybe they thought it was too violent to film?

Optimus ripped and crushed the Fallen's spark with prejudice in ROTF so I don't think so.

Orci and Kurtzman probably thought it funny with Megatron responding he want two pieces of Jazz.

Well, most of the questions are answered, but I'll give my interpretation to some:

Bumblebee actually got his voice back for good, but he just prefer to talks with radio [or the fact that we don't know HOW LONG he was without talking, maybe he just got used to using radio over voice].

There's a tiny difference between having your waist destroyed and your body separated in two for half-an-hour and losing your legs from your knee down.

I mean, the second wound isn't immediately fatal even for HUMAN BEINGS, why should Robots die with it?

About the shard thing, people already gave explanations, but I have one extra explanation: That Shit has been lost for centuries, do you really hope that Optimus and his fellows know everything about it? They know slightly more than us for all we know.

What I don't get is how come Frenzy got his entire body back in the first film just from being near the Allspark, while Bumblebee got squat from holding it.

Also, doesn't it seem like the 'Cons are a bit more intelligent than the 'Bots and humans? The 'Cons knew that an Allspark fragment would bring Megatron alive, while Sam had another shard which was wasted on Jetfire, rather than using it on Prime.

I'm pretty sure the shard pulled from Megatron at the end of TF1 (the same used to bring him back to life), could have been used to bring Jazz back somehow.

Maybe the Allspark works differently with already alive robots vs things that aren't robots yet. Consider the amount of energy that Bumblebee already spent in order to have chosen two different alt-modes in a short period of time. Maybe that has something to do with it.

I think the transformers trilogy and continuity will always be messy. It is not one big film broken into 3 films, it is 3 different individual films with different plans. It is like questioning the continuity factor with the Friday the 13Th series

The 'cons are a lot more willing to use the power of a mysterious god-cube on themselves than the Autobots are. Tampering with forces they don't understand and all that.

In situations like that, we need Ironhide to balls up and say "Don't be a wuss, Prime."

As TFwiki explains: Bumblebee probably wasn't aware of the healing properties contained in The AllSpark [and had no idea how to trigger such properties, while Frenzy had].

You have to consider that the 'Cons had A FREAKING PRIME to handle information about these things to them, The Fallen probably had more knowledge about the Cube than any character in those movies [you can see that even in ROTF, Megs says the Cube is forever lost while The Fallen goes with that "The Cube is only a vessel"-thing, showing how he knows more than even Megatron himself].

Once again, I believe 'Bots had no idea of how to trigger the healing properties of the AllSpark, nor that the AllSpark even HAD such properties [they know it can create life, but who said anything about bringing the dead back from their graves?].

When megatron is resurrected. Megs says The Allspark is destroyed and without it, our race will perish. The fallen disagrees by saying
Oh, you much have much to learn, my disciple. The Cube was merely a vessel. It's power, it's knowledge, can never be destroyed. It can only transform

Quick question: When was it said that the Allspark arrived on Earth?

When I first saw the film, I started thinking that the Allspark created all life on Earth.

Or is its powers just limited to creating mechanical life?

Oh you mean Ze Little One Scrapmetal. Nah just parts like Jetfire corpse tacked on Optimus Prime.

Scalpel said a Energon is needed for the resurrection. Thus stabbing it to Megatron's dead spark.

When you think about it Megatron absorbed almost every piece of the Allspark. Except the one Jetfire absorbed.

Humans brains seem compatible data storage. Megatron's navigation data and knowledge is seared on Archibald Witwicky's brain. Sam absorbed the Allspark knowledge just by looking at it sparking.

12,000 years ago around 10,000 BC. Big coincidence that it crashed on the same planet where the Prime civil war happened 5000 years earlier. Or is it?

With Megatron at the arctic and the Ark on the moon it can't be.
