Im not a Star Wars collector but I do enjoy the films and TV series and my fave character is General Grievous so Im looking to get a toy or two of him. Im after some opinions on which figure release of him is the best? So far the Star was unleashed figure looks to be the best from what I can tell but im hoping someone who owns these figures can tell me what they think?
Also, which Transformers grievous toy is the best, the starship or the cycle? Thanks.

I don't own the Wheelbike TF crossover, but from the pictures it's nothing terribly exciting. I do however own the Grievous starfighter crossover TF, and it's nothing shy of amazing.

As far as figures go, the most recent Legacy Collection figure is fantastic(and massive). I'm a bit partial to Grievous myself, so I may not be the person to ask...but I love all the figures.

Here's the newest Grievous figure with my handmade cape. Of note is the fact that this guy is utterly huge by 3.75" figure standards. Also of note is the fact that the arms can separate into four, merge back together, and remain fully articulated in two- and four-arm mode.

I agree with BrokenSVT on the Legacy Collection Grievous recommendation. Easily the best 3.75 Grievous so far. He should be fairly easy to find too since he was just released.

I own the wheelbike crossover TF Grevious but the starfighter version looks so much better that I may get that as well. I could be getting the 3.75" Legacy Grevious as well, since it looks to be the best one of that size.

What about the Unleashed Star wars Grievous figure? Is that any good and what size is it?

About 8" tall, IIRC. And completely unposeable, as it's a display statue, and not an action figure, if that means anything to you.

Thats a bummer, I just ordered it off ebay as it looked cool thinking it was poseable. The regular starwars toys are so small id like a 6 to 8 inch poseable Grievous.

hes nice looking for sure, but yeah, just a statue. If you end up liking the line tough, check out Boba Fett, its totally sweet.

I have both the SWTF Wheelbike & Starfighter and hands down the Starfighter is the best. The only thing the Wheelbike has going for it is the mini Grievous pilot that comes with it. The later releases of SWTF no longer include the mini pilots.

The perfect Grievous toy would be a mixture of several.

I have all the Grievous's released so far, and the one Id recommend the most is
the sneak peak version from the ROTS line to be honest (the original)
Rebelscum.com: Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Photo Archives

He's also out again now packaged in one of the new lines. Only thing bad is his arms dont split, but he's the sturdiest and the cape is cool

You may end up having to get about 3 of them. A solid one without the splitting arms, and one with a 4arm add-ons, and maybe another one for whatever reason. Just stay away from the exploding Grievous. They all have their own unique differences which makes it almost impossible to pick just one.
The Grievous Unleashed is the best choice for display, or that Lego one if you have the cash

For SWTF's, the starfighter is definitely the better choice, but it does'nt come with the little Grievous pilot like the Wheelbike did. Not much of a loss but still kind of a bummer

    IMO

    Thanks,

They also had the two LEGO Factory space sets, Star Justice & Space Skulls at $35 each, and the new LEGO Factory hotrod garage at $35.

By spending over $100.00, I got a $10 discount AND Free Shipping!

I picked up all 4 sets for only $139.96

An incredible deal if you ask me. Unfortunately, the deal only lasted from Black Friday to Cyber Monday. :(

Now, I have to ask You a question,

In the LEGO Cult/Club thread, you posted this as a recent Meijer purchase:

Since we don't have any of those stores around here, I'm curious, what else do they have for LEGO sets dating 2007 and back?

I'm looking for some sets from 2007 and prior.

I actually quite like SWTF Grievous/Wheelbike. That awkward arms and legs sort of suits the character. Except for the huge wheel on his back. I must saw him a cape :lol

No love for 12 inch Grievous? Or Deluxe ROTS Grievous?

Those two also had the splitting arms.

There's a new Grievous figure out? That means I need to start looking. I've got a lot of Grievous figures, and that 12 inch one is really nice.

I know they dont have any Exo Force now, but hav'nt been lately so can't say for sure. They probably have what was out about 6 months ago.

That Striking Venom deal was a rare day, I check the clearance aisle thoroughly everytime I go now :lol
