Its pricey enough id want to see in hand reviews before paying
Great bot mode, but those alt modes aren't doing much for me, at least at that price. I don't know, this will be one to consider down the line, I'm not sure it's better enough to replace my Hexatron Continuum.
Wonder if they will do a western G1 green version. This blue is nice, but I already own the DX9 blue one...
Unless I sell that, buy the retro version and buy this one as well
YES !!!! Problem solved ... Genius !!!!
So far GCreation's will be most likely the largest Sixshot ever made. I'm glad it looks like they are striving for joint improvements over their previous releases. I'll keep an eye on this because I have an obsession for Sixshot, but I need to know what the quality will be like on production pieces.
Looks great. The black background is a good choice to hide the empty space in the ankles.
I hope he comes with a lot of hyper ratchet joints too!
Looks pretty good. It looks like a Classic to me but with the size of a Masterpiece, not sure if I'm interesting having Asia Exclusive, Clone Droid and Titans Returns.
If there is one Transformers that represent my childhood is Sixshot, I never thought the day would come when I would see so many options.
It's not classics, it's IDW MP
Yep. This was the one I was most looking forward to but I'll pass. Great bot mode but hell, they almost all have that.
Car mode with the whole "car" part being from the middle back just looks all wrong to me. I know there are wheels hidden in the front bottom, but it just doesn't look good IMO.
Jet mode is too obviously bot mode laying down with the legs folded up into too bulbous of a shape.
Gun mode is the usual take it or leave it thing.
Tank mode is alright but somehow the tiny treads stand out to me on this version.
Wolf mode is probably the only mode I like almost as much as bot mode.
Figure is too big for CHUG and he sure doesn't fit as an MP. I don't care to start an IDW MP set.
Now I'm just waiting for Fanstoys.
I think the picture we saw with the "empty" ankles simply didn't have a number of panels folded into place properly. Because that's not just the backdrop you're seeing through his ankle. There's plastic mechanical-looking stuff in there as well. Also, those black panels on top of the jet mode wind up on the backs of his calves. So the gaps should be covered.
Yeah, the ankle flap wasn't folded all the way out, and the faux piston panel on the foot wasn't flipped up. Coupled with the high camera angle, it gave a clear view through his ankle that shouldn't be there otherwise.
I wonder if you can mount the sword like a central mounted railgun in tank mode?
Using the same method for mounting it as a tail in wolf mode may provide that effect.
Playing with different designs
Man he looks amazing. Might even replace my hanzo with that guy.
One thing is clear: it looks superior to MMC sixshot. I'm still happy with mine and not interested in IDW enough to invest in this one. On the same boat here waiting for FT's arrival.
The top of his head is really sticking out to me for some reason, like its too "conehead" or something?
Fanstoys = G1 MP = too plain for me... I will wait for G Creations!
So, his sword name is "Raidenmaru"
Metal gear raising reference?
There are two constructive pointers that I would wish that GCreations would consider and it's the ankle/foot joint that been addressed. As of right now, one side of the ankles are fixed to one side while the other side is not; therefore will the foot assembly break off when accidently dropped on the floor (not intentionally, however it could happen)? Also the lower part of the shins could be lengthened slightly longer to cover the gap (right now it looks like that he has a totally dislocated ankle joint).
I'm loving the look of this in colours. I'm sold on bot mode and I really like the alt modes.
The armoured car mode makes me think of a Batmobile in the vein of the BvS movie(not a fan of the movie but I like the car design).
The space gun mode looks like...a space gun mode. I was never a fan of this alt mode for Sixshot.
The tank mode looks appropriately tanky and gun laden to me.
Wolf mode is great, particularly because of the articulation demonstrated in the photo!
Wingwolf mode is hilariously bad, as it should be!
Spaceship mode looks par for the course to me.
As much as I love Terminus Hexatron, this may become my top non-G1ish Sixshot toy. I never owned a G1 Sixshot, either original or reissue(I'm hoping to rectify that someday) but I'm definitely happy to have TR Leader Sixshot as my G1ish Sixshot for now, though I do like the FT take on the character/toy design.
Certainly looks that way to me!
I wonder if his guns/rifles are a reference to something as well?
Separate names with a comma.
