So Ronin was a no show in GCreation’s display at CIFC2018. A little worrisome. They however showed a cut out illustration of their Megatron Bomber.

Dying for updates!! I am hoping we'll get repaints of Prowl into Smokescreen and Bluestreak and Starscream into Thundercracker and Skywarp.

 

Nothing, and I’ve been searching. Fingers crossed. I have some hope because they made an appearance at the CICF2018.

 

Gcreation is working on new joint technologies, so no news until next year.

Oh nice! Seems like a lot of good info from weibo. Well, I’m glad companies take their time to improve on things. I love GCreation because they are tackling IDW, and dig their aesthetic. Fingers crossed they get what they need to get done so we get better quality products.

 

Sorry for the bump but I just wanna know if this is still happening or Gcreation is kinda dead. I feel like this was an incredible design and it’d be great to have if made.

 

I really hope they aren’t dead. Their sculpts are incredible and they seemed to be getting better engineering with each release.

 

Yeah and I was thinking about how cool it’d be to have an MP scaled drift. Is there any particular real world base for this guy’s car mode?

 

I think he was a Mitsubishi FTO or similar Japanese sports car.

 

Alternate earth mode was a Nissan Silvia Spec-R S15. The official hasbro toy has this alt mode also, I believe.

This is some kind of cybertronian-thing though, not unlike MMC’s, but more “human car” looking.

Also, this may sound terrible, but I wouldn’t be sad if this Drift ever comes out. I’d much rather they work on the raptor seekers or Magnus.

 

I went back and looked at the seeker outline. Holy shit, it’s a raptor! Finally that design may..I mean will, be mine! I am so excited I could type in all caps!


As for them being dead I don’t think so. Megatron is still in the works afaik, we should see him in prototype soon. Ronin too, though I have Kuro Kara Kuri aka sexylegs so my Drift budget is all used up.

 

Yeah I was very excited for the Magnus and Seekers. I think they may have released their figures in the wrong order. IDW MP Prime and Sixshot had direct competition. MMC Drift is really nice too. There’s no IDW Seekers or Magnus.

 

too bad this company has folded
