Thanks for finally coming on here and letting us know. I had already talked to you on FB and was calmed a bit, lol. But I'm sure everyone else appreciates it on here. Hope the China, Gulper thing works out, any idea on a rough time on that? Guess I will stick with you a bit longer cause I would just have to try and buy Gulper when you do finish. Feels good to know that refunds will be no problem if wanted. Thanks again Dr. K  

 

I've been dealing with Dr. Killinger for the last 3 years. All my purchases (and custom paint requests) go through him. Not once has he ever "scammed" me, or not deliver on his word. Dr. K is very trustworthy, and a great guy to deal with. Delays happen... For those that don't want to wait, Dr. K has offered a full refund. But owning all his past products, I think it's worth the wait!

 

Yep got my refund super speedy and he replied about instantly over email.

Coming to the forum though and explaining everything helped immensely in reaffirming my trust in him and any future works though. So that is greatly appreciated.

 

Thanks for the update... that's all I personally wanted, and I'm happy to wait as I really want the figure.

While I did end up with my refund, (many thanks to Dr. K for his understanding), his update is also very welcome.

I'll be more than happy to support the project in future, once development has progressed on the China front.

 

I have enjoyed working with Dr. K for some time now. I started out as someone who ordered hip armor and claws and waited patiently. I have the hip armor and soon claws. I have purchased thousands of dollars of stuff through and from Dr. K and trust him completely. So much so I have preordered items a year out and have considered investing in his business.

Talk to the man before you run to the forums in an attempt to win an oscar for drama and attention next time folks. Maintain effective adult communication and you will see it get you far better results.

The update was appreciated. Communication is key when it comes to operating a business. I haven't personally dealt with Dr. K before but I've PM'd him in the past asking about old projects that he was doing before he opened up his shop. He truly does seem trustworthy and he clearly has plenty of supporters here on the boards to attest to that. With that said, I'm glad that all of you who requested refunds have received them. For me personally, I'm going to stick with this project. I know Dr. K can make it happen and I really hope outsourcing to China pans out. This figure intrigued me ever since it was first announced and I just know that if I cancel my order I'd just come back once they were ready anyways.

Keep up the great work Dr. K! I'll be waiting  

 

So is there a time frame release for this figure?

Since the figure is being out sourced those of us that paid in full, will the price stay the same

I'm not worried about getting this guy. He will come. I've gotten to know Dr. k and I actually did a review for his energon cubes he sells. They're sweet highly recommend over any others on the market.

 

I am also very curious in knowing, at least, a rough time-frame since he has already contacted a factory. They must have a best guess. Not that I think it's not coming, just the wait has been long.

 

I was told a slot in the factory should be ready sometime shortly after CNY.

 

So we are talking about next year, March at best?

 

Yeah that is a big ouch, but I guess I've waited longer for game releases lol.

I didn't order this guy when it was on pre-order (missed it) which was probably for the best all things considered...

That said I will definitely be on board once he becomes a mass produced plastic reality hopefully sometime next year.

 

I had a real hope for a Christmas miracle of news, lol. Guess the wait continues.

 

It was mentioned above that you're probably looking at after March for any kind of updates.

I'm hoping there will be some extra up for order. Didn't get in on the pre-order. And don't wanna track it down on secondary market lol
