I'm in at $10-12 because I agree, we need clear or translucent swords for figures that really got shafted (Alt Nemesis Prime, etc)...

Ok guys, thanks for the comments (seriously). I'll work on getting a more definitive price and I'll update this thread to gauge farther.

I'd be in at a $10-12 range, especially if you could do different colors. Need a light transluscent blue, yellow, maybe a smoke-grey as well as the red.

I would not buy it, but I only know that because I already have it. The money is not the issue, its the competition. I want to get a TAW God Sword for him.

I would. But not in black. Don't have Shadow Commander obviously, only Protector. I'd take it in red.

Just curious. Would you be making them, or paying someone else to make them, an then you just handle the distribution? The latter sounds like an odd business deal to me.

    $15 for Shadow Commander's sword - No.

    But $15 for Shadow Scyther's scythe - Yes. ;)

I think he's done a few group-buys before and actually lost out on them. Not so much a business as finding a way to get certain odds and sods made, which is furry muff.

I'd have to supply the sword obv. to get made, and I'm trying to see if there's a market in case he wants to sell them off.

And honestly, you may not handle a lot of bulk or group orders, so you wouldn't know, but it's a LOT easier to have someone distributing if you're the manufacturer, because counting, sorting, packing, mailing, etc. etc. takes a lot of time in and of itself, and that's opportunity cost in terms of time that you can actually spend making a product. If one person's constantly producing and one is constantly overseeing order sorting and shipment then productivity is increased ten fold.
