IMPORTANT NOTE - This is NOT an actual sale. That is why this is posted in the Toy discussion forum. It's simply gauging an interest in who would buy a product if it were produced.

Basically, what the thread says. If there were Shadow commander swords at $15 per sword + shipping ($1.71 US, and $1.72 international for up to 5 in and order), would you buy them?

If you'd buy them, how many would you want?

I've had quite a few people asking about this, and I wanted to gauge interest, because if there's enough, I'll make it happen.

Please be honest in your answers.

    for 15$ definitely not.
but seeing prices of other 3rd party items, that seems normal. but personally i could not drop 15 on a single sword

depending on the quality and paint app of the sword. I am interested if there is a group discount, or lot discount. I would consider getting anywhere from 1 to 8, depending on quality, cost, and paint.

I wouldn't buy one simply because I prefer my robots to carry guns.

But I might buy one for my Classics Nemesis Prime. But not at $15. I would do $10 at the most.

I would not buy just the sword but if it were say the connectors and the sword and maybe in other colors to go with the other commanders I might pick up one or two.

The little bit the sword "plugs' into in vehicle mode of the trailer. The thing that holds in in place on the hilt.

oh... yea, I don't know why that'd be necessary, bc the only use for it is if you have SC, and then you wouldn't need it anyways... the other commanders don't have a hole for the connector to plug into on that piece...

$15.00 for a sword? Sorry man, but that is $10 to much IMHO.

the shadow commander kit IS on my want list but i dunno about buying just the sword. maybe if the sword came with something else, like a better Blaster or something. or better yet, why not some arm attachment that stores the sword someone maybe on his arm?

Personally, I wouldn't buy it. But considering 3rd party items such as Corbot War Axe, which I believe sold at around $15-$17, $15 for a sword is not a bad price....maybe $12 is a little more realistic and doable for most...

I made a similar sword, but Shapeways results can't compare with a proper casting job.

If it were a mass produced third party product such as the TFX Armors or something, then no, as $15 for a piece with non-moving parts is way too much. On the other hand, if the production run was much smaller, I could understand, especially if it weren't from a big-time producer like FansProject. In that case, yes I would depending on the quality of said product as the price would be excusable.

As mentioned before, I'm interested. In terms of price. Between $6-$10 each is ideal for me. Thanks again!
