I just saw a commercial for it! http://www.gatorade.com/default.aspx#gseries?s=prime-performance-chews Dude...like WTF?
I can handle Powder Gatorade. But chewables? I thought the whole idea of Gatorade was to "quench your thirst and provide you with electrolites".
They had gatorade gum back when i was kid it was the nastiest stuff ever : 1981 Gatorade's Gator Gum Commercial - YouTube
man, I used to love gatorgum. I can still taste its tangy goodness in my mouth. then again, this is coming from someone who drinks monster because he likes the flavor...
I wouldnt be surprised if they used stuff like these as a supplement, especially for stuff that's not water-soluble. I can see it being useful, if a little odd. They're basically chewable vitamins, it seems, and since that's a product that seems to be doing rather well elsewhere, maybe Gatorade wants in on the action.
Guess that's worse than looking like anus waste & tasting somewhat alright, specifically compare a cereal called "Fiber" that looked like little pieces of poop floating around in your bowl.
Not sure what the confusion is here. They're just taking the "Gatorade" brand and branching it out to other non-beverage, sports performance-related products. In this case, a carb supplement with vitamin B, niacin and some electrolytes.
I remember it but never tried it. So long ago as in from the 80s like the gum or the 60s when the drink was invented?
