Looking great Mako! Can't wait to see him with his cannon.
lovin it! i'd say your one of my biggest reasons for getting into 2d and 3d art! I love how all your models are so cartoon accurate.
Beautiful interpretation, clean and focused, and signs of efficient design... as always.
Just...wow. Absolutely beautiful work, Mako...would love to see that become a 3D print of some description!
Thanks y'all. I'm surprised such simplicity can still generate feedback from people, despite not being TFA or IDW/mosaic related
Nice work - love the head sculpt.
^Awesome work as usual, man!
its nice to see plain old original galvatron done so purdy like. lately all we see variations/new forms etc but the classic is always best. nice job so far
It's the vuvuzela you added into your sig. IT MAKES EVERYTHING AWESOME
Oh, and great render, by they way. It looks just like someone went and remade the G1 cartoon IN THREE DIMENSIONS
Got some good proportions there Mako, just wish you showed some more detail and better bevelling in there.
Abso-friggin'-lutely spectacular! I love your 3D models! Speaking of which, did you ever finish your G1 Arcee? I remember seeing you post her head a couple years back, but that's about it.
Thanks. That's all that I'm looking after by modelling this anyway - proportions. The challenge is to translate the odd, absurd forms and shapes of the G1 cartoon model into 3D, so I'm not worried about detail or refinements.
I'm saving the Studio Ox level of detail to my Arcee model, which will be rendered by my next PC since my quadcore is already going kaputz, overheating whenever I render an image.
I like the construction of your hands; it's been something that has stalled me for awhile considering how screwed up the hands in the G1 cartoon were. Translating them into 3D was not going well. Can you post up a pic of yours palm up and open so I can see how you did that?
Very very nice!
