Few years behind on this, but I just got round to watching Garth Marenghi's Darkplace today and its one of the funniest things i've seen in ages.

Its bascially a parody of horror authors and 80s TV drama presented as a mockumentary containing episodes of a rediculous supernatural hospital show. The attention to detail in replicating cheap 80s TV is amazing, right down to the audio distortions and bad editing.

    Anyone else seen it?

Watched the first couple of episodes when it was on, then missed the rest whilst I moved house. Keep meaning to buy the DVD set, and keep forgetting. :(

It's marvelous. There's a full version of One Track Lover out there that is excellent, too.

I watched it when it first aired and have it on DVD.
The joke does seem to wear a bit thin as the series goes on but it's still full of classic moments.

I like The IT Crowd too, which shares some actors with GMDP.
