So I've been fighting off throat infection with Garlic for the past two days, and it's working, but now I have class tomorrow. And I have a job interview tomorrow.... How do I get the Garlic smell out I will adimit I've consumed a good head and a half of Garlic so far....
Ugh, had to drink garlic when I was younger for health reasons. As Brainchild and lildevilchick said, gargle thoroughly with some strong mouthwash. I'd also recommend to start burning through mint lifesavers like there's no tomorrow.
Chew some parsley. No, seriously. Problem with garlic is if youve been eating a lot of it, the oils are going to be seeping out of your skin and mouth and you can really only mask it.
Yep, don't just worry bout your breath but also your skin. Don't forget your cologne! After you finish up tomorrow, swing by. I think my neighbors are vampires and I'd like you to meet 'em!
But what if his interviewer is a vampire?!! Interviewer: jor interview hinges on these next 2 vords: impress me, bla bla! Ace convoy: but thats 4 *horks garlic* interviewer: aaaiiieeee *dies*
The thing with garlic is that you have to keep eating it regularly. Your body will adjust to it and after about a week or more, you'll stop smelling of garlic or having lingering bad breath. However you will retain the positive health benefits from the garlic, of course.
Hold on....Garlic helps out with these kind of things? Why don't I know this? 0.0 Although I have heard Parsley really helps with bad breath, mints could help but you'd need quite a few and brushing your teeth a few times wouldn't hurt. Besides it's not as if they'll be close enough to your face to smell any garlic if there is any smell lingering about.
Just go to the interview and while in there keep glancing about and sniffing. After a couple of minutes ask the interviewer: "Do you smell garlic?" If they say no then carry on as normal. If they say they do smell garlic then smell yourself and say: "Nope. It's not me. Very odd." Just pretend the garlic smell isn't you. Acknowledging the smell while not admitting to it will deflect suspicion away from you. Ignoring the smell completely will lay the blame on you. I use this trick all the time with farts. 'Whoever smelt it dealt it' doesn't always have to apply.
This. Also, garlic takes much longer to dissolve in your stomach, so the smell stays because it's still in your body. Drinking coffee masks it, breath mints, gurgle with mouthwash, regularly brush your teeth, put cologne on and for &$#&# sake, DO NOT do anything that will make you sweat.
Ok... at school now and so far so good XD sprayed old spice on me before bed and Cologne after i woke up.... and more deodorant stopped by for some breath mints and ricolas (for my throat) I'm doing great. The Garlic did wonder XD I feel great... still sick but my throat feels almost normal with the occasional cough when i get exited... which is frequent..
