A few months ago, I picked up Gargoyles #1. I've been trying to pay attention to the schedules, but just dont see it, where is #2? Did I miss it? Is it coming soon? Anyone know?

You didn't miss it, it hasn't come out yet. I can only guess that they tested the waters with the first issue to see if it would sell...... and it sold out.

Diamond doesn't have it on a ship list for this week or next week. Good books can never be shipped on time.

For those that haven't seen this new book, its written by Greg Weisman, the guy that wrote the original TV show. He is basically doing all the stories he had left in his head when he and Disney parted ways.

I would put Gargoyles in my top five animated series of all time, it had continuity out the ass, something that is rare in cartoons.

don't forget that it's not a monthly title either, it's bi-monthly. (that's every two months for you public school grads)

Funny the local comic shop guy thought it might be cancelled. They wouldn't honor his requests for reprints.

That's funny. My local comic shop said that they were able to order the reprint of #1. They couldn't tell me when it was coming out, but it's supposed to be this month. Hopefully #1 is out before #2, or (even better) the same week.

But does that mean it'll be out before that Kevin Smith Bullseye conclusion?

For all you guys waiting on this issue... Gargoyles #2 is on the expected list for next week (November 29)!
There's still a chance it might not show up though.

OMG! No way. I hope the comic isn't plagued by any more serious delays. I want the new stories that are supposed to start with #3.

I saw some of the art on DevArt and was pretty impressed I'd give it a thumbs up!

I hope that they wise up and continue the comics for a very long time. Gargoyles are great in so many ways. Does anyone know if any more dvd sets are set for release?

Both Graham Crackers and Midtown don't have Gargoyles #2 on their lists for November 29th.

As for the DVDs, from what I've googled, sales of Season 2 Volume 1 weren't that great so there's no plans to release volume 2 currently. http://www.s8.org/gargoyles/askgreg/search.php?rid=467

Its listed on Diamond's site as shipping the 29th, which is a poor judge to use for shipping dates.

I always get shipping stuff from my local retailer since he knows exactly what is coming to his store.

Diamond always updates their lists on Monday. The ones that come up the week before are subject to change.

Slave Labor is famous for this.
I love their stuff, but their releases have never been consistent at all. JTHM, Squee, Gloom Cookie, Little Gloomy, Lenore....well, you get the idea, basically everything they've ever put out...
They always mysteriously show up when you least expect it.
I stopped reading their stuff because of that, it got annoying. One month, they'd have one issue out, and the next, another, and then the next issue would take like 3 or 4 months to come out...
