Need opinions on something. I have 2 computer monitors of which I could play my 360 and PS3 on (when the wife is using the big nice TV at least.) Which one would be the better to play on:

    Monitor #1:

    19" LCD
    1920x1080p
    2 ms response time
    2000:1 DCR
    75MHz

    Monitor #2:

    23" LCD
    1920x1080p
    5 ms response time
    15000:1 DCR
    60MHz

    Thanks in advance.

Try them both and see which one you'll prefer.

Numbers and specs are good and all, but it's you who has to look at it, so it's going to really come down to your subjective opinion of which looks better.

That being said, I would go with the larger monitor since console games are generally made with televisions in mind, and on a 19 inch it might be a bit cramped looking.

depends on what type of gaming you will be doing. if just casual offline, anything will really do. if you want something for competitive offline and online play, asus makes some very reliable monitors as far as extremely low delay goes.

also just so you know input delay =/= response time. there is lag/delay in all lcds so you really have to do some research if looking into something for competitive gaming.

but yeah, name the brands your looking into and what you'd be using it for.

Well from memory (not at home right now), the 19" is a Samsung Syncmaster something or other and the 23" is an HP.

Just to clarify, you own these two monitors already right? You're not looking to purchase a new one?

If you were looking for a new one, then as Cracka J mentioned, Asus makes a really good monitor (the vg236 I believe) that is used for the evo tournaments I think.

Yeah I own those 2. One connected through HDMI, the other through DVI.
