Not really bothered either way as long as download purchases are recorded and available for redownloading if necessary.

Now that EA has signed up with Steam, Download only. Their software completely eliminates DRM, which practically all PC games do now a-days.

This, 100%. I know they run the risk of people logging onto other machines and downloadng their stuff there, but that's the price to pay. I know Sony has it to where you can download 4-8 copies of a game (even some expansions) onto other machines, but I just hope that if I delete Wipeout 8 times from mine, that I will have access to it still.

Assuming price is exactly the same as it is now, then hard copy all the way. If they decided to cut costs to make downloading more appealing, then I would be all over that. That is assuming there was a way to re-download it at no additional cost if something happened to the original file.

I think a lot of us here could be called collectors, so one of the main reasons I like hard copies is simply to have a nice, show-offy collection. There's games I play between big titles I'm looking forward to, and those I wouldn't really mind downloading as long as if something happened to my harddrive, they could be redownloaded. But for those important games, I would still want the hard copy.

hard copy because 15 years from now if I go to play an old game I bought and my hard drive is missing it, I don't want to run the risk of the original download provider having ceased services

    Hard copy, for collecting reasons.

I prefer Hard Copy, but I love when retro games are made DLC.
