Games for Windows is the problem!

    Games for Windows is the ones who really made it so, Pc doesn't get support anymore and so on....
    Since Games for Windows started, pc barely gets any DLC or updates.
    I'm starting to notices this and I'm starting to get majorly pissed off.

    Um...what? It might help if you first describe the problem before going into your rant. I have no idea what you are talking about. Is this about a specific game, a series of games, or what?

    Huh? Just use Steam. Plenty of good PC stuff out there.


    Also, PC almost NEVER had any "DLC" as we now think of it. It used to be either free content via a patch or something user created(Like the Unreal games), or it used to be called an expansion set and was typically worth the money you paid for it.

    Steam, but also look at diablo2, 10 years old and still getting new stuff in terms of patches

    Hell, wait for StarCraft 2 on tuesday. we'll see more DLC than you can shake a zergling at.

    I don't see too many Games for Windows LIVE titles. Most of them are quite free of the GfWL label. At that point, it's up to the developers and the publishers, and Microsoft is not that big a publisher on the PC.
