there is a few interesting details. it explains why we only see drones and no enemy troopers in the screen shots. and we may see alien planets at some point.

Not a ton of detail, but it's a pretty cool timeline nonetheless.

When this game officially releases, I wonder how many reviewers are still gonna say "Official G1 canon."

    Firtst WFC was G1.
    Then it was PRIME.

    G1 continuity family.
    Prime continuity family.

    Mash-up.

And people wonder why I conclude that PRIME is a G1 offshoot?

    Otherwise, it's just a continuity fuster-cluck headache.

WFC was always intended to be Prime. It's just that the developers did a lot of G1 homaging.

I'm sure the more intimate plot details are still under wraps. We all pretty much know they get to Earth via the Ark and Nemesis anyways.

Starscream looks a bit more streamlined here. He seems to have more Animated-inspired back wings... I may just be imagining these changes.

That isn't what has been said through official sources, including the last issue of Gameinformer covering this game.

adding on to what Liege Prime said in response to Mixmastah:

War for Cybertron, Fall of Cybertron AND PRIME are in the ALIGNED CONTINUITY and thus actually are meant to be together.

See here: Aligned continuity family - Transformers Wiki
