Kinda curious about this. I'm selling a copy of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 for the PS2 on Ebay. It seems most, if not all interest for the game, is coming from buyers in Mexico. I know the game is considered a modern rarity in the U.S., but was it something that was even harder to find for Mexican gamers?

Probably never got a release there?

I'm not entirely sure that Mexico is even an official PlayStation territory. I know Europe handles some of South America, Africa, the Middle East and Australia. Never heard Mexico specifically mentioned in any company presentations or anything else for that matter.

Best I could find is some dude looking to buy it for a cooooool $100 http://uk.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=26527768

i've seen it go for crazy prices on ebay, at least £60.

plus when i went to see twist we saw it in a second hand store for £38 or something crazy like that.

it must be pretty rare or saught after, i wonder how much the xbox one sells for....

Somebody would have to pay me $100 to take the PS2 version of MVC2 off thier hands, which would probably be just enougth to buy a spare Dreamcast.

Dreamcast is the only way to go, no port issues since its the same hardware as the arcade board.

The only version of the game that doesn't seem so rare is the Japanese DC version...which I have. My guess is the game was never released in Mexico.

Until your DC dies on you. It's only a matter of time.

Despite the fact that I take good care of my videogame stuff, and had my DC packed away for about a year, it died on me a couple months back. Was playing Grandia II and it froze, and after that my DC won't run any games anymore.

I'm so glad I got a Dreamcast in time to get this game. I'm also glad Capcom had a pre-order bonus for one of their Resident Evil games on their website. My brother wanted the bonus disc, some sort of history of DVD or something but I'm not sure, so when he ordered I also ordered Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 for my Dreamcast. I think it was starting to become hard to find in stores at the time. This game is awesome.

I have seen it used for at least $30 but it may be closer to $50, and that is the PS2 and X-Box versions. But I must ask, why sell it?

Haven't played it in over 2 years. No real desire to play it anymore. Saw an opened one, with no instructions, going for over $70 and figured why not.

Wow, I never knew that I have over 100+ PS2 games doubt any of them is rare. The only game people have tried to buy off me was the PS1 Castlevania SOTN. Good luck with your auction.

For those curious, the game sold for $66.00. Not bad for a game I paid $25 for.
