Do you think Galvatron should appear in Prime? And if so, how? Perhaps he is near fatally damaged and has to resort to dark energon again, which transforms his body into something new and powerful? I'm clutching at straws for ideas here. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

I don't want Megatron to become Galvatron.

But I DO want him to eventually have an Earth mode.

If being Galvatron means Megatron is still Megatron on the inside, I don't care if he changes his name and appearance, but if he's going to be crazier than he is now, no thank you.

I wouldn't mind if Galvatron was a separate character, but I really don't like the idea of Megatron himself becoming purple and insane.

    Earth mode would be nice.

The problem with that is if the dark energon didn't transform him before, why would it this time?

Nope. It made only sense in G1.

No. While I thought he was done okay in G1, I wouldn't want to see him in Prime (or in the movieverse for that matter).

Only as a separate character/new Megatron form WITHOUT a name change.

"I'm back from the dead and now I have a new name" always felt stupid to me.

Yes, as long as he's not a separate character

Yes, as long as he is a seperate character:cool: . I don't want to replace Megatron and if he gets stronger, I don't think he should change his name unless they show us a real reason.

If he were to be a separate character then there's no reason to name that character "Galvatron".

As for having a reason for a name change, maybe Galvatron is the name of a mythical evil foretold in the Covenant of Primus, and Megatron takes that name for his own

I really don't see Galvatron coming in Prime to be honest. Though I can see some influence of him in Megatron in a lot of ways espically with his insanity.

They never really say that though. They just say Megatron is Stronger, let's call him Galvatron now. I think there is still a reason to have a seperate character be called Galvatron because he would still look like and act like Galvatron. My real question to him being megatron is what does he have in common besides being a stronger Megatron? In RID, it was the same exact character just with a new (non-Galvatron inspired) colorscheme and and the same personality.

Galvatron was an insane and stronger version of Megatron (at least in G1). If such were to be used in Prime, Megatron's current insanity could grow to the point of becoming Galvatron-like.

I don't see what the purpose of a separate character Galvatron would be. A rival for Megatron? They could use some comic character like Straxus instead for that purpose.

I say no. I don't like Galvatron. I prefer Megs stay the way he is.
