i read that The Constructicons are the ones who basically rebuild Megatron and now he has three modes, with that i also read he would keep the name Megatron in the movie to avoid confusion with viewers. i assume he is Galvatron in this movie but to avoid people who haven't seen any of the series to become confused he is being called Megatron still.

    Is that true?

He's Megatron, not Galvatron. There is no Galvatron in the movieverse.

Heck, in my opinion, ROTF Megatron is more Megatron like than TF1 Megatron (tank alt-mode, friggin huge right arm cannon).

No Galvatron. That's a good thing in my opinion. Galvatron always kinda freaked me out. And Megs did not.
