    Hi guys and gals,

last week i bought Hasbro TR Galvie.
Figure in hand, cant say i was impressed, very light, lots of gaps and holes and that face..
I immediately knew i had to mod him.

    Galvs01.jpg

So from a bad thing to a good thing.

    ill show my progress here.

First of all the ORIGINAL HASBRO head...
OMG that is one plain looking head, that needs to change ASAP!!!!

    image (6).jpeg

Unscrewed the 'head' from the titan master, removed the flippin gimmick (flip out mask) out of the robot chest and started reshaping the head and helmet.

Here are pics of how that became.

Some fun with alternative Galvie head sculpting:

    SUPER DEFORMED GALVATRON MUHAHAHAHAAAA :D :D ;)
His head is so big, he can think for all decepticons at once..

    6TH dimension Galvatron :p

CASTING A NEW HEAD IN CORRECT SCALE:

    OLD POSTS:

I have made two colors for him.

his blueish purple and his greyish white

i am airbrushing it and it is one of my first attempts ever so the paint was too thick (i mix it myself from acrylic paint and even a little bit oil paint with destilled water and alcahol)

Now i made thinner paint and that works much better, so probably this figure wont be perfect regarding paint job but it is a good learning experience! :)

    Thanks ;)

yeah, i really didn't like that sculpt

i want my figures to look good on the shelf, and with that sculpt i wouldn't be happy :(
so this is better, not perfect but better:cool:

Only thing i see now on the pictures that i need to better paint around the eyes, it is so tiny that you dont even see it but on pics you see everything, but next session i will make that better.

    cheers

Nice. Why did you stick with the headmaster, instead of giving it a pure CHUG head?

i think i'll stay with a transforming head, only, i am going to make my own!
    from scratch design one.
an Galvatron head which will transform into a Scourge!
And not such a lame transformation as TR but a inticrate transformation.
    Why?

because the head is too small, i have fitted it and i dont like it.

i think the sculpt turned out decent and as TM it is still fun to have, i'll put it on Blurr for some funny pics later..

    So to the drawing board!

Interesting. While you're there, you could make a Cyclonus target master

that is a very good idea, I'll do that as an alternate face mode for this Galvie!
    Thanks for the suggestion!

Dont know if anybody else still reads this, maybe yet another titans return galvatron is not interesting anymore, dont blame ya, it is not the best figure to begin with.

    Cheers
