Since 2005 most of the information about the series (apart from an early press release from WE'VE) and the show itself seemed to indicate it was an all-new story with nothing to do with Armada/Micron and Energon/Superlink. Now, the booklet that came with the final Galaxy Force DVD says that Planet X was an alternate Universe body of Unicron (not just a 'dark god', as in the show) that went into a frenzy repair mode after Master Megatron absorbed Unicron's spark, just like the end of Energon/Superlink. Then Takara's own official Transformers timeline has retconned Galaxy Force' events back into the Micron-Superlink continuity, making it the Unicron Trilogy, as Hasbro and Takara originally intended. So what I want to know is... what was the bloody point of making Galaxy Force to be a seperate series (and thus cause Hasbro difficulties with Cybertron), only to make it part of the trilogy after the fact? Also, can our Japan-loving friends stop pointing out that Galaxy Force is not a part of the Trilogy - as they have done so in almost every thread about Galaxy Force & Cybertron since 2005 - now that it is wrong? Unless Takara changes its mind again.
