That is the Korean version, the only difference is the packaging.

SO fear not, it's legit. Good figure too, enjoy.

Unlike past Takara licensed Sonokong TFs, IIRC, Korean Galaxy Force toys are actually made IN Takara factories.

Someone will correct me if i'm wrong.

Sonokong's stuff is usually as good as the original quality wise, it's a good way to own the toy without paying out megabucks.

I really, really love the box design, especially how the toy, force chip and trading card are all seperately displayed.

This is the only one I own:

It's from Mocom Toy. Mocom was the company that picked up the license after Sonokong lost it, and it's legit. Quality should be the same as any Hasbro/Takaratomy product.

just saw this on ebay, i have the takara version so i'm not interested at all, quality wise they're probably identical, but the korean galaxy force boxes just look so knock-off ish with all those tv station/regulatory approval icons and korean scripts indicating it is indeed starscream! smida. imo the takara boxes look so much cleaner.

Thanks for the clarification. I was wondering WTF MOCOM was. Didn't know Sonokong had lost the license.
