So I was fiddling with my GF Soundwave when I noticed something odd.

The Cockpit on the right arm is different from the one on Universe Blaster.

When you fold it over the fist to tranform the figure into vehicle mode the cockpit only covers two of the fingers on the fist where on Blaster there is more to this piece and it covers the whole fist and the large screw. The TFwiki makes no mention of a mold difference between GF Soundwave and Cybertron Soundwave as far as I can tell.

This image here shows what I'm talking about.

Oh, that isn't a pic of my Soundwave - just an image I found online that had a good shot of the piece in question.

    I wish I had that blue scapmetal,too.

The *bottom* cockpit half on the right hand that just hangs off as kibble. Not the *top* cockpit that sort of forms a shield in robot-mode.

I just checked on blaster, soundwave, and the E-hobby galaxy force soundblaster repaint... they're all the same.

I think there are problems with the mold though, because on my blaster, the peg holes at the top of the wings are way too big, and Sundor can't even peg in.

That's weird. I don't think mine is a KO. I bought it through BBTS loose and it has the Takara and Hasbro stamps on it, but it looks exactly like the figure pictured above, which looks like it was taken at a Takara display at a toy show.

Could it be the Takara licensed Korean version?

No, because if that was the case, my Soundblaster would have the same problem.

Yours isn't a KO. It just has a flaw. If you read my post, I stated a flaw with my blaster that I'm sure yours doesn't have. It happens.
