This custom was a commission for a friend, Runamuck from the TFW2005 boards. This is actually the first time that I've done a commission of a piece that I had not previously made for myself. Add that fact on to the fact that I am a well-known Seeker-head, and it was especially hard to let this one go! :lol

I've shot nearly 4 times as many pictures as is shown here, but don't worry, the rest will all be in the gallery :)

Here's a few shots of the jet mode:

    [ATT]3737[/ATT]
    [ATT]3738[/ATT]
    [ATT]3739[/ATT]

With only having ten images to show, I tried to pick ones that helped show off the detailing of the guy. Notice in the picture immediately above this paragraph, the detailing of the calves and the outside piece of the fore-arms.

    [ATT]3740[/ATT]

On to the Robot mode... I tried to come up with a unique paint scheme, one that would be unique to Skywarp, and not be like either "thrust" or Starscream. I also wanted to try to make mine more cohesive, and have a better flow, and be more functional than the other two seeker's schemes. I wanted to additionally make it so that I accomplished all these things while also still pulling out all the right spots that are so famous on the original G1 Skywarp.

    [ATT]3741[/ATT]
    [ATT]3742[/ATT]
    [ATT]3743[/ATT]
    [ATT]3744[/ATT]

When I painted the details inside of the shoulder pylons, I actually was able to 100% faithfully mimick the original G1's stickers, the shapes and small subtle lines on them are dead-on!

I had to round this fella up with a nice family shot :)

    [ATT]3745[/ATT]

One last picture... I wonder just how many people will appreciate this one, and how many more it will simply fly right over their heads? :lol  *

    [ATT]3746[/ATT]

    * I have to give props to my bud SQ7 for the wonderful idea of the last image! :lolol

Very nice, man. I was tempted to get another 2 of these just to have all 3 OG seekers in the same mold. This is my favorite seeker mold by far. Excellent work, bro.

Nice job!! This was the mold that I wish I had when I did my WW Skywarp. Love that shade of purple too. It really has some pop to it.

yes, it is! Incomplete Skywarp is what I'd say is the most famous character to come from Buzzbeak's (Buzz, I figured you'd get a kick out of that!) long-running and also famous comic-strip, "Them Funny Robots" as linked here:

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=95602

Thanks man, and de nada. I'd say its been about 9 months since we reached our agreement and you began your hunt for some GF Starscreams at a decent price, yes. hehehe

    .

Thanks man. :)  I went a bit unorthodox with this one, as I just couldnt' find a purple that I was happy with AND was bright enough to contrast good against the black that he would be. I painted all the purple areas with a white undercoat first, and the purple itself is a Roseart Colorsharp metallic paint pen. I just rubbed the brush against the marker tip and painted it on. I used a brush because you can't get into tight areas with a marker (imagine me trying to paint down in those knee vents? :lol ).

I'm glad that you guys like it, and especially Runamuck (seeing as you paid for it hehehe). It was fun, and it was good for shaking the rust off as well. Its going to suck having to ship him off. :(

Sweet indeed. I agre that that's one of the best Seeker moulds we've had in my opinion, and you've done it proud.

Thanks for the compliments guys! :)  Compliments always rock, but even more-so coming from top-shelf painters.

Great work man! I like the metallic purple you used. Are you leaving those missiles by his head blue and red?
