I'm on a run to collect lots of GF items I missed when the line was out, they are like my holy grails. Thing is, Cybertron prices are ridiculous and the Galaxy Force editions I find are few and far between.

However, there's this recent wave of re-issued Korean versions for extremely good prices, both on e-bay and BBTS.

It seems though that the plastic window is different from other versions or does not photograph well, because they all look SHODDY in packaging. Has anybody who purchased any Korean GF items any issues at all, or are they like the sonokong BW Neo re-issues that had zero differences in quality besides packaging?

Any help would be appreciated or even pictures if one has, thanks!

In regards to Cybertron...which figure prices are ridiculous? Outside of Leobreak and Nemisis Breaker all loose complete figures sell for less than retail.

On topic...I don't have an answer to your question.

The scout figures are generally lower than retail, but anything above that is easily double the original price.

I haven't found any ultra\voyager for less than 40 USD [most average at 60] and don't get me started on Prime\Megatron\Galvatron, the lowest on one complete boxed is 130 USD. Always talking about e-bay prices.

Ah you want boxed. I'm a free your figures kind of guy so I don;t pay attention to boxed figures. Boxes easily double the price .....or much much more.

Even loose they fetch exorbitant prices. I don't care for boxed ones either, but loose are expensive as well.

Just found a pic of my Korean GF Nitro Convoy, and yes it hasn't come out very well. They look great in boxes but really don't photograph well. :(

    Which ones you looking for?

Recently acquired a Korean reissue GF Master Megatron, and i have no problems with the quality.

That's one of my biggest worries, if he's fine, I'm good...

Most of the sellers in the junkion exchange overprice their Cybertron\GF toys. Hence my preferring e-bay and searching for the korean versions of the figures I want...

Ditto. I picked up the Korean Override, Hot Shot, Crosswise, Sideways, Vector Prime, Scourge, and Wing Saber awhile back and they're all the same as the Galaxy Force versions. Quality is great. The only difference is the packaging (naturally), though it looks similar to the Takara Galaxy Force packaging to me, and they come with little lenticular collector cards which are a nice little addition, especially since the Sonokong Beast Era stuff I picked up had only those cheapy looking cardboard cards that looked like something you'd cut out of the back of a cereal box.

Plus, for sealed figures, the prices are good, so if you can nab them I say do it. Those figures helped me round out my Unicron Trilogy collection.

There's pros & cons about these Korean/Mocom Galaxy Force figures that I'd read. While majority of 'em turned out fine, there was a couple of badly-complained issues that involved QC (poor paint that got rubbed off, scratches etc)

I read about a User giving an honest review on the Autovolt piece he bought.

    It was terrible beyond words...

    Hits & misses, I guess. :p

^This. I would say only the Leader class sized figs from the Korean GF toys are worth a shot, IMHO. Anything else is like you mentioned, is hit and miss.
Luck of the draw, ppls! :D
