aka, The I scored Max Factorys Godannar thread.

I simply could not belive my luck in finding this, I wandered into Orbital comics in London to look for a birthday present and found myself staring open mouthed at a small section of the store that had recentley become home to a number of brand new & expensive Gokin figures.
Looking past the SOC's and the odd Aoshima my eyes and consequently my hands were immeadiately drawn to a large package trimmed with Gold and adorned with a fantastic illiustration of the bot in question.

The price was high but was it unreasonable?
Memory failed me and it's internet price I could not recall so I left it. When I got home and checked it out I found to my amazment and delight that it was lacking the kind of mark ups that had mired Auto Assembley for me and was in fact only £10 or so more expensive then buying it from HLJ with EMS shipping.

So to cut a needlessly long story short (and get to bed) I used some money I had saved up specfically for times like this and after impatiently waiting for my working day to end I went back and claimed it! :D

    The end

    pictures!

It's amazing that in 20 years of collecting Japanese robots, I've never learned what a "Chogokin" or "Gokin" or "Popy" is, all terms I frequently see all over the place.

Can't say I dig the "round" look, but obviously a VERY impressive figure! Congrats!

You might have to wait a few days, the "daily awfullness" keeps intervening.

That looks awesome. I've been thinking of getting the SHE set myself, but I haven't really seen any good pictures of it.
