How could I forget the pre-Spychangers Gobots? Those were freaking awesome. You know it says something about a TF Fan when they admit that their first toy Prime was a Lamborghini.

Tough call, I love a good deal of the new designs from G2.

My brother would probably say G2 Sideswipe though. He's a fan of black Sideswipe.

Myself, I'd say as a group, the Laser Rods. Four classic cars with excellent articulation and nifty swords. I'm surprised they have not been repurposed for a newer line since their original release, actually - I thought they would have been prime candidates for RiD or Robot Masters.

The Minibots Beachcomber, Bumblebee, Hubcap, and Seaspray. I used to have all four of these wondrous, shiny 'bots. Seaspray only remains to today. :(

    So few choices... :lol

But there's only one that stands head & shoulders above the rest =

Just an all-around great mold! & then they repainted him into Scourge/Black Convoy during RiD/CR & then he became even more perfect! :thumb :thumb

I like Hero Megs, except for the air launching missile. It's a quite articulated Tank Megatron that was in scale as a robot to G1 Optimus Prime, it was great! Would have liked it if they gave him the same colors as the large Megs though.

Oh. Well, then, I guess the only pure G2 toy that I liked was Skram. Dunno why, but those 80's colors really had me interested.

Starscream (I liked the sound effect backpack thing and didn't mind the extended missiles) and the chrome minibots stand out for me. Though I didn't own it as a kid, the Laser Prime mold is nice and as an added bonus, eventually gave us RiD Scourge/Nemesis Prime down the road.

Hero Prime was a favorite, despite weird mounted gun. I just really like the proportions, and I really dig his white/yellow/red cab :)

Besides that, I had lots of fun with Terradive, still one of my favorite alt modes.

Agreed, tho I'd put Dreadwing and Laser OP ahead of him. Hero Megatron got most of the good elements from the previous version (namely the transformation) and downscaled it into a more compact toy. Neither one got decent colors though, the purple had to go.

I don't have a lot of G2 stuff, just a couple of the figures they rereleased in RID. Of those, though, I'd probably have to go with Dreadwing and Smokescreen. Laser Rod Optimus is really cool and all, but I love all the playability and features packed into the jets; they transform into nicely articulated robots, they combine, Dreadwing triple changes into a very Cobra-y tank, there are pressure drop bombs, spring loaded missiles, and the six-missile launcher of death. There's just so much awesome packed into those guys, it's incredible.

I'm also really fond of G2 Onslaught, if only for that commercial.

For original molds nothing beats Hero Megatron for me, he's an all around great TF. The fact that it says "Megatron Rules!" on his chest just adds to the awesomeness.

Dreadwing is a very close second.

I have a G2 Prime and 4/5 of Bruticus, but my favorite has to be that big, green & purple G2 Megatron... I love the figure, and kick myself for not buying the one I saw when I had the chance!!!
The Hero mold is nice and all, but I've got a soft spot for that Megs!

I've got quite a lot of G2 stuff and it's just impossible to pick a favourite because there were so many cool things in it. If I try I'll keep adding honourable mentions until I've listed almost all of it anyway.
