    Hey guys,

Should be an exciting weekend coming from me. I have SEVERAL galleries which I will be presenting to you.

First, let's begin with a "next to impossible to get" set of G2 Stunticons!
These were for a fellow board member (Who was VERY patient)

    My thanks to him!

Anyway, this is basically an authentic G1 Stunticon set, painted to match generation 2 (which I hear is near impossible to obtain)
I used some dyes, and lots of airbrushing to get these chip resistant as possible. G1 fabrication tends to love rubbing.

I researched, measured and made the stickers using water slide decals from my computer (which I still have the vector file or jpg file for ....pm if interested)
The sticker set took as long as the paint job!

There are also more pics of the individual Stunticons on my flickr account, and soon will be added to the gallery on my site (click my promo banner)

thanks guys, another thing I wanted to add, is that I photo'd these using only sunlight and my light tent. you can see how bright and vivid the colors are using natural sunlight vs. photo lamps

yeah, i will get to that one day...soon.

I've been in the process of getting all my old date files onto my new reformatted PC (5x faster than any mac hehe)

once I attach the old hard drive as a slave drive, I can access the zipped folders for about 30 customs.

being on a MAC computer for a week, really was a pain in the ass.

Don't tell me your gonna jump on the Corel bandwagon?
Granted I only use my Mac if a customer requests, but they are super easy to network to each other, and run well.

    BTW, I'd like those sticker/ decal EPS's. :)

Exactly why I use a PC< best of both worlds. I have full CS3 on this system now, it was just a pain in the ass getting to work properly with their retarded "activation" process....seems I'm not the only one furious with Adobe after looking around online.

I do prefer Corel over Illustrator believe it or not. It's quick, easy, and I can export in about 40 different formats.

including all my recent sticker projects.

*sigh* I love your customs, but a computer is a computer, especially a mac. Coming from someone who has been through the hoops with Dell and HP, and has built his machines for many years too... can't bash the Mac. Well, I can if its something with integrated graphics... something the Windows world deals with too.

I have XP and Mac OS on this machine, and I much prefer the mac OS. I had Vista on here at one time, and well, its cemented my choice of operating systems. But seriously, the "(5x faster than any mac hehe)" is a total lie. Any newer PC runs just as fast with Mac OS slapped onto it as it does Windows, and a Mac Pro can be configured pretty much the same as most PCs.

These lies about speed are one of the reasons the world has to deal with a horrible monopoly. Fortunately, that's changing each quarter as Mac shipments increase.

Perhaps not 5x faster, but faster.
Compare mac's best processor to my QX9770
I now have over 900 gigs of hard drive space (for under $300)
How about graphics? GeForce 8800 Ultra
    + 4 gigs

I think a package like that on a similar mac would cost about $5,000...at least (if there even is one out there)

It's not sensible to buy a computer because it's got a "cool UI"
I've worked for years on both, and never hit a hurdle on a PC, but constantly hit them with Macs. Software's a nightmare and upgrading is expensive.

Sorry, but I prefer to drop $1500 on my PC and outperform the $4,000 macs out there. And 3 months from now, I may choose to drop $500 more and still be ahead of their newest overpriced machine. I can (and have been) upgrading this PC for 5 years. It will always be lightning fast.

I mean...c'mon apple: http://store.apple.com/us_smb_78313/browse/home/shop_mac/family/mac_pro What am I thousands for...an OS? lol, XP and vista work great.

(and as a computer builder, you should know the only reason apple's still around is due to Microsoft's continual support through stock pumping)
    remember this: http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/cyberspace/july-dec97/apple_8-6.html
    or this time:
    http://barnako.typepad.com/barnakocom/2007/08/did-microsoft-m.html

Yes, apple is "on their way there" but until then, I will wait the 10 years it takes and in the meantime, stick with the more sensible PC

Ya know Mikey, we have a section for technology and we don't need to hear your obviously biased opinion on Apple. Use what you like and that's that, its like us arguing about paints. Lets all just be adults and keep this forum on track with what it is meant for, Customs.

I'd like to see that. I am only able to go off colors from "not-so-great" pics online, which might have been taken with different cameras, which might have skewed the colors off a bit, but either way, every color used here had to be custom made, which was a real tough challenge.

So these are for TF2, one of the only people in the world who actually has the real deals? Odd. Still stunning work as ever, lad, and as far as I can tell, the colours look spot on (not that I'm any judge on colour :p ). Definitely be interesting to see TF2 do a gallery with the two side-by-side for comparison.
