Woohoo! I'm the first bidder! I only did to be able to say that I bid on one of them. I harbor no delusions that I will win.

I bid $30. Any bets on how long it'll take for me to be ousted? I say less than an hour.

EDIT: And, the answer iiiiiis... 9 min 10 sec. :lol

It's magically BLUE! I liked Streetwise's color scheme the most of the G2 recolors.

Well Delphan Rane won the first 3, so they still may stay as a set...

But Jon and Karl aren't selling the bodies, are they, correct me if I'm wrong. So if Delphan still won he'd ultimately only have four out of the five.
Good luck to him though, it'd be fantastic to own even one of those, much less the best part of the set.

While I'd like to bid an absurd amount... I don't want to contribute to making Delphan Rane paying more than he has to. If he has the first three, I'd like to see him get the 4th.

I'm tempted to attempt to win it just to hold it for ransom. If the same guy's bought the other three, there's no telling what he/she may pay to have the fourth.

On the 3 so far, exactly $7000 minus PayPal and eBay fees. So probably $6400.

Most people estimate that the Stunticons, at least the 3 unreleased ones, will go for far more than the Protectobots did because of an increased popularity. So you'll expect, with law of averages, when the Stunticons and Blades finish, Jon and Karl will have $15,000 or so more than they started with.

I think we'd have to upgrade from rifles to RPGs at that point. Or cruise missiles.

Hey, if you want it, bid on it. There's NO REASON Delphan Rane has any more of a right to this one than anyone else, and he'll tell you so himself.

That said, I expect that he'll bid very high in an effort to complete the set, but I have no compunctions whatsoever about seeing the price skyrocket.

Getting 3 does not give one any right whatsoever to the 4th.

Don't forget, they're also looking to auction off two OTHER rare TFs (not the Protectobot and Stunticon leaders) during this run of auctions. They've said that one is an Autobot and one is a Decepticon, and the Autobot will be the next auction after Blades (i.e., in about 2 weeks) before the Stunticons start going up.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the total for all 10 auctions will approach, if not beat, $20000.

Just did the math on fees:

This means that the Hartmans made $6595.70 on the three auctions done so far. It should be noted that they probably have a business account on PayPal, which seems to charge by the month, rather than by each transaction, so their fees might be even less, as the lower percentage rate would kick in. However, I don't know if/when they do payments, so I can't be more precise than this. At any rate, they made at least $6595.70 on these auctions.

Assuming similar totals over the course of the 10, this would average out to about $22000 total. But since we don't yet know what two of these auctions will be for, and G2 Breakdown is somewhat more accessible, this is probably a high estimate. I'll stick with the aforementioned $20000 ballpark.

The REAL question is who's going to help me club them over the head and steal their money when the Brothers Hartman aren't looking?
