G2 Gobots question...

    I'm looking at my Generations book and I notice that in the G2 section, there's some extra pics of the Gobots Optims Prime, Megatron, and another guy with the "regular Gobot Soundwave "T" Transformer design on their hood... Can someone tell me where this comes from and who it affects...

    PS:Sorry for the poorly structured sentences.. I'm a lil drunk :drunk

    Top right on page 87 for others that have the book...

    I've wondered about those as well. I'm not really a variant hunter to that extreme of a degree so I haven't aggressively pursued those guys. A running change or special release of some kind, perhaps?

    Interestingly, the book doesn't cover the running changes in the American Gobot/Spychanger line (solid vs. transparent parts).

    youll have to find them but they are in the picture next to the north american versions. the japanese versions have the Transformers on the hood (prime and megatron). i gotta look up the 3rd guy.

    dammit the 3rd one is soundwave! i thought it was the same but the are slightly different. now i need to find one....

    Japanese releases of Prime, Megatron and Soundwave. I suspect the same production run resulted in the parts that ended up as BotCon Nightracer, but I could never verify that.
