That's pretty awesome looking, but to me at least, the team wouldn't seem to go together, aestheticly.

i think that it is nice to see a different arrangement, I agree that they don't really fit together in alternate mode, but who gives a shit! to each his own and good job :)

I like the new style. You need to score a new head for that joint though.

I really like look of the combined form, even the Double Dealer head. Also, the chest transformation for "Hook" is interesting and different.

Using the Energon Scorponok legs is a great idea, and I was thinking the exact same thing for those Hulk forearms... will the combiner parts (forearms, hips, etc) form a drone vehicle?

I agree with the earlier statement that some of these figures will not go well together aesthetically, especially in robot mode. In particular, Bonecrusher and Long Haul as ROTF figures will be out of place... and the Scrapper mold is such a brick, I think he might look funny with the others as well. Unless you're planning on doing some serious modding on those...?

I think this is a great approach and will be following with interest, but I do agree with what has been said already about the aesthetic.
Energon Threadbolt is such a shit mold, I wouldn't be using that.
ROTF Rampage and Payload can work, maybe something can be done to them to reduce the bayness?

Good luck and great work so far, especially the use of Scorponok, a stroke of genius that :thumbs2:

The upper body looks awesome but the thighs looks a little long or a little skinny. You could add bulk or try to shorten it?

That's the whole this-is-different deal. He used Energon Scorponoks waist and legs, which in my opinion is very inventive as well as really goodlooking.
