All I meant was, why are people freaking out about missing the G2 set?

Yes but that version isn't the same as the G2. Not is it the same as the SDCC one and will be hard to get also.

 

I got a pre-order in at Amazon and BBTS... as well as the retail versions on pre-order.

 

Goto BBTS and pre-order the Generations wave 2 case, $114. The Amazon one was up for days, and you know there will be atleast what four more repaints? lol

 

The point of this thread is to help people and not say 'LOL GO BUY THE WAVE 2 CASE BITCH".

 

...Why? This really does bother me because everybody at least deserve's a really cool looking G2 Bruticus and 2 is kinda dumb if it is just for you and not a friend.

Bottom line, we are a collecting community but it's a first come, first served hobby. If you didn't get a pre-order in when there were several avaialble it's you're loss and nobody else is obligated to help.

 

I bought Amazon Bruticus months ago when I learned Amazon didn't charge until shipping.

 

I really am almost done with the whole 'community' in general because everyone is out for themselves and no one care's about anyone else.

 

Most hobbies are like that where items take on value. The G2 was not that hard to get when it was available.

 

You're seriously shocked? Hell, most of the "community" here will be glad to sell you TFCC freebies the day they are mailed out for 3x what they paid for their membership. And as long as you have people here who will pay that, it'll keep happening. And don't expect a courteous heads up when something is on sale until after they've got theirs, and possibly an extra for their sales thread. Nature of the beast.

 

Which is somehow impossible, considering the listings only went up a little over 2 weeks ago.

 

*shrugs* I guess stuff like that doesn't bother me so much. It's the nature of any hobby, really.

Eventually, someone will get tired of theirs and you'll have the opportunity to purchase it. Maybe not soon and maybe not at the price of the pre-orders, but the opportunity will be there. Patience will be the key in getting this toy in the future.

wait till a few days before its supposed to ship / on day its released, when amazon starts charging the cards and some come up declined, theyll open up preorders

thats how i got diablo 3 collector's edition 5 days before the game came out

 

Yea, I was out of town for a week when these came up... I had no internet connection to pre-order this guy. Which sucks, because I skipped most of the Prime line to save for these guys. I really hope they get more of these on Amazon too, because I have a gift card I want to use.  

 

One of my flaws is gross overexaggeration of figures. I got it when it went up, basically.

I don't know how tall a building is. I say 100 feet, but that's probably wrong.

 

Here is my only comment: Keep looking, keep watching, and some will become availible.

How?

1) People that purchased it fearing they couldn't get SDCC Bruticus

2) People that purchased it but plan to cancel if they find them in retail for a better price

3) People that change their minds at the last minute


Mark my words...Amazon will do another offering.

 

He was available on 7/6 for a few hours and then from 7/11 - 7/24 continuously. So that's 12 1/2 days people had to buy this thing without having to fork over a dime in advance not counting the few hours BBTS had it.
