You'll find info on the stampings here:

If it's a blue windscreen, Wheeljack could be the Diaclone Marlboor, in which case you've got a rare pricey pre-TF. Does he have the regular WJ head? Could you post pics of him?

Abit off topic guys but is it true that the Wheeljack mold is damaged and as a result he can't be reissued?

i know about this. i have 1. i have a large wheeljack collection. The blue roofs are very rare, but are documented. they were 1st run diaclone, similar to yellow stalker in g.i.joe. the paint just wasn't quite mixed right.

these usually accompany the yellow sponsor bar on the door and roof number stickers.

they arn't in any demand, because it's just not something that people seem to care to pay any more for. ironically, people just shrug this one off, when they could potentially be worth quite a bit.

keep it, it's a cool variant, but not worth any more than a regular wheeljack would go for, sadly

The circle around the word takara is the original diaclone mold. The molds were then adjusted to show the word Hasbro in the trademark ID. I have a few of these. Trailbreaker, Sunsteaker, Wheeljack. My Wheeljack's roof isnt exactly "light blue", but it does have a very slight off whitish slightly bluish hue to it that I just attributed to age. Pretty cool, thanx for the info.
